Recently, ISIS has taken parts of Syria and Iraq for the new Caliphate and people in the non-Muslim world struggle to understand. This book explains the background history to so much of what is happening and surveys the possibilities for the future. Islam is exposed as a religion very different from any other religion, especially Christianity throughout history, as well as its manifestation in our present. All through this history and even today, the west has been looking for moderate Muslims to stand up against the radicalism of the Islamic Fundamentalists. Here finally, the simple truth is revealed that Islam is Islam. The distinction between radical and moderate is usually more imagined than real. The authors unique qualifications as students of history and the residency in Cyprus of one of the authors provide a unique perspective not likely to be found elsewhere.

Foreword

I just finished readingAnita and Vann Bosemans book, Radical Islam: Past, Present, and FutureWhatModerate Muslims Will Not Tell You. The book is a well-documented expos ofhistorical events, past and present with a comprehensive analysis of possiblefuture events. The husband and wife team highlights the struggles thenon-Muslim world has trying to understand the radicalism of the IslamicFundamentalist.

I was fascinated by the well-researchedcomparison of the Trans-Saharan slave trade (1400 years) with theNorth-Atlantic slave trade (400 years). Anita and Vann provided the reader withsolid scholarship on the subject as they offered detailed exploration of thefacts coupled with comprehensive sources on this topic.

As a retired militaryofficer in the United States Army and teacher of Comparative Religions and Philosophy Religion andEthics at Strayer University , I am reminded of a quote by Alexis de Tocqueville over a century ago.I studied the Koran a great deal ... I came away from that study with theconviction that by and large there have been few religions in the world asdeadly to men as that of Muhammad. Today, videos are distributed world- wide highlighting thebrutality of the Islamic State. One video alone feature the beheading of 21Christians. Instead of outrage, the liberal mainstream media and IslamsWestern apologist have dismissed the actions of Muslims calling for the totaldestruction of non-Islamic states as the actions of Radical Muslims and not thebeliefs of the moderate Muslims of today. They propagate the thought thatIslam is an ideology and religion of peace. This storyline is reinforced by theWestern Muslim scholars under the guise of multiculturalism to indoctrinateour society to accept any statement that another culture wishes despite thefoundation of the culture.

The facts to thecontrary are clearly documented in this scholarlywork. I fevery Muslim, past and present, followed the Qur'an (words of Allah) and theHadith (Muhammads teachings) word for word, they would have committed crimesagainst humanity and mankind in the past, commit crimes against humanity andmankind in the present, and will continue to commit crimes against humanity andmankind in the future. They would be celebrated as the true Muslims who followthe actual ideology of Islam. True Muslims do not make changes to Allahs wordsbecause Allah is perfect and his knowledge is absolute. They do not cherrypick Allahs word to choose which ones to follow. They believe his words arerelative and every word he revealed can be applied to any time of humanhistory. Thus, the paradox, those who commit inhumane and brutal acts are thetrue Muslims who represent the real Islam because they follow Allahs words, the Qur'an, and Muhammads teachings word for word. Where are the moderateMuslims?

This does not speak ofa "peaceful religion" or as Obama has described it as a Great WorldReligion. I recently heard Daniel Massieh speak. He chronicled Godsamazing grace in his life in 1979 to the present time. He tells how God led himfrom a devout Muslim family, with many ties to Egypt s Muslim culture, to thefoot of the Cross. Because of his faith, Daniel was persecuted, labeled atraitor to Islam, and imprisoned under unbelievably harsh conditions. He spoke of the greatdeception where we are told that Christianity and the Muslim religion are equaland we are all descendants of Abraham and therefore worship the same God. Anitaand Vann documented and chronicled that deception and presented a side-by-sidecomparison of the marked differences between the two religions, and theteachings of Jesus Christ and those of Mohammad.

While in the military,I met officers from Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan, all who declaredthemselves Muslim. We were still in the Cold War era and considered ourselvesallies as well as brothers in arms. While at the Advanced Course at FortBenning I met Jordanian Officers, one of whom was a relative of King Hussein. While there, Syria attacked into Jordan with Soviet arms using typical Soviettactics. We were concerned that they had to leave to fight but they assured usthat they were in constant contact and would stay in America. In about a week, the Syrian attack was defeated and we celebrated together. We saw in the newsrecently where a Jordanian Pilot was burned to death in a cage in Syria by ISISand the King of Jordan got into his helicopter to attack ISIS with his airforce. This brings up another point. What is a true Muslim?

As Anita and Vanndocumented, the long awaited reformation of Islam has taken a different paththan the one the West hoped for. Everything that moderated Islam, the ideasand behaviors which made it possible for the Muslims to live alongside otherpeoples, is being removed until only the words of the Quran and the Hadithsare allowed to remain.

For the faithful whohave heard the call and either joined ISIS, pledged allegiance, or are simplywaiting on the sidelines to go with the winner, the stage is now being set, asthey see it, for the end of days.

I was intrigued by thebook at first; overwhelmed with fact checking the copious footnotes; and thenmesmerized by the documented message: Islamic Conquest, Can it Happen here?Anita and Vann Boseman have documented the fact that the conquest has actuallybegun and is well on its way to success. My book, like others who have read RadicalIslam: Past, Present, and Future, What Moderate Muslims Will Not Tell You, isfilled with dog-eared pages, marks in the margin, and yellow highlightedpassages. Make no mistake about it, this is not just a cultural clash, it is awar one side doesnt know they are in and the other wants the enemy defeatedand dead. Girdyourself in the coming battles with knowledge, facts, and truths.

Dedication

Thisbook must be dedicated to two husbands. My late husband, Picard RaghebEL-Jamal, because he was my sounding board for so much of what I write, aninvaluable resource for a great deal of the essay on September 11, 2001, and justthe fact he encouraged me in my writing and study. My current husband, VannAshley Boseman, is also a fan who keeps me on task, is making an invaluablecontribution to this work on the history of slavery, and is lots of fun. Thankyou both!

I alsowant to acknowledge all of the work my wonderful sister did in editing thismanuscript for us, thanks sis!

A veryspecial thank you goes to The Reverend Hugh B. Hall for his permission to quotefrom his essay on equality and his inspiration on Christianity.

We wouldalso like to offer our thanks to the men and women of our Armed Forces, past, present, and future, who have given us the freedom and stand on the wall toprotect those freedoms we enjoy.

CONTENTS

Introduction

Over thelast many years, I have been tasked with various writing requests. These haveranged from essays on certain historical personages, events, and recent orcurrent situations. None of the work was ever intended for publication. However,at the urging of some of my private readers, I believe it is time to put theseout to the public at large. Now that my husband Vann has joined me in the questfor scholarly knowledge, he can help endure the brickbats that may come our waydue to the airing of the opinions we express. For good or ill, here they are, enjoy!

Neitherof us would deny anyone their freedom to speak or express an opinion and wewould expect the same courtesy. I may not agree with what you say, but I willdefend your right to say it so we hope you will give us the same right.
