FOREWORD
Napoleon Hill knew more about how to manifest wealth, abundance, health, and happiness than any author writing books in the twentieth century. His seminal book Think and Grow Rich has inspired hundreds of millions of readers over the last eighty years to pursue and achieve their dreams. Monica Main is the first author of the twenty-first century to significantly enhance Hills teachings in such a way as to make them immediately accessible to all readerswhatever their background, previous education, or exposure to concepts such as the law of attraction or the power of masterminds.
Napoleon Hill lived at a time when there were few women in the world of business. Most females living in the United States when Think and Grow Rich was first published in 1937 were stay-at-home moms supporting the men in their lives, who were considered to be the breadwinners. Hill was as progressive as any man could be in 1937, but he could not avoid the cultural bias that downplayed the role of women in economic matters. And as a result, most of Think and Grow Rich was written in a style that doesnt address the ability of women to manifest wealth.
In The Lost Secret, Monica Main has rectified this deficiency. She is a woman who became an adult in the twenty-first century, and by following the principles and practices Napoleon Hill wrote about in Think and Grow Rich, she is now able to write from her own experience and perspective in a way that makes Hills original teachings more easily understood and actionable by a wider and more diverse audience.
In The Lost Secret, Monica pinpoints the essence of Napoleon Hills breakthrough thinking and highlights the most important principle that Hill revealed in his speeches and writingsthat of vibration and how a clear understanding of how to raise ones vibration is the key to manifesting wealth, health, and happiness. Monica writes about this principle of vibration in a way that I believe resonates with todays more sophisticated audience. She speculates that the two chapters Hill wrote on the importance of raising ones vibration, which have been previously lost until now, were excluded from the original 1937 publication of Think and Grow Rich because they would have been considered too metaphysical and too far out for the readers at that time. But today, with our greater knowledge and understanding of quantum physics and concepts such as the zero point, we now see that Hills insights into the power of vibration have a clear scientific basis, which Monica documents in this book.
As you read The Lost Secret, you will be presented with Napoleon Hills original thinking... and you will also learn from Monicas experiences in applying Hills principles to her own life as a woman and as a modern-day business leader. The wonderful combination of knowledge and experience she shares in this powerful book has the potential to significantly change your life forever.
And as both Napoleon Hill and Monica explain, it is by focusing on how you can best serve others that you will create your own abundance. The universe is not a zero-sum game. There is enough for everyone to live an abundant and fulfilling life. And as you will soon discover within these pages, it is now time for you, too, to unleash your hidden powers and create a more abundant and fulfilling life for yourself... and then share that wealth with the world.

Among the most sacred legends in the world is one that began in 1908 when an ambitious twenty-five-year old entrepreneur and wannabe writer named Oliver Napoleon Hill embarked on a lifelong mission to study hundreds of self-made millionaires. His efforts were prompted by Andrew Carnegie, a man whose name remains synonymous with great wealth and philanthropy. Not even halfway through the journey, in 1919, Carnegie passed awayit was too soon for him to witness the true genius of Napoleon Hill; what the business magnate and others did see at that time were mostly concealed and watered-down conclusions suitable for the times.
Nearly twenty years later, in 1937, the real findings of the secrets to success and riches were published in Hills now-classic book Think and Grow Rich. It is said that upon its release, it was received as anything but a classicin fact, the opposite was true. It was maligned, discredited, and soon removed from bookshelves through an initiative by some elites, such as Henry Ford, who wanted to ensure that the common man and woman would never know the truth behind untold wealth, health, and happiness. I think this hatchet job probably broke Hills heart, who most likely believed that his lifes work would always be altered and misrepresented by forces outside of his controlforces that wanted to keep the knowledge to themselves in order to keep their power, status, and fragile egos in place.
Since then, a number of charlatans promising the secrets of attracting great wealthbut delivering only fantasieshave cast shadows on
