The first time I read Nicolai Sennels book Among Criminal Muslims , I could almost hear the penny dropping in my head. Finally, here was an explanation for why Muslims behave badly in the eyes of Westerners. At last I understood where their aggression comes from, and I could dismiss all the politically correct talk about socio-economic factors and exclusion. Quite simply, it boils down to the fact that Muslim culture is fundamentally different from Western culture. People who have grown up within the Muslim culture are taught that attack is the best form of defense. While we Westerners see it as a form of weakness to lash out at someone, the Muslims see it as a sign of weakness not to lash out.

The book you are about to read has been given the English title Holy Wrath Among Criminal Muslims . It is a unique account of life inside a Danish juvenile detention facility, where the psychologist Nicolai Sennels worked for almost three years. It was quite a shock for Sennels when he realized that the vast majority of inmates were young Muslim men. Unlike Sweden, for example, Denmark keeps records of the ethnicity of criminals, and Hanne Bech Hansen, former Chief of Police in Copenhagen, confirmed years ago that Immigrant crime is the largest, all-consuming problem in the Danish capital. More and more Swedes have come to realize that the situation is the same in Sweden, especially after the police officer Peter Springare in rebro went public in 2017, and caused a media frenzy by declaring that virtually all those suspected of serious crimes in his area had Muslim names, and were of Middle Eastern or North African descent.

A little-known fact is that the majority of those who fall victims to immigrant crime in Denmark are ethnic Danes. The public debate in Sweden often asserts that immigrants shoot, assault and mug other immigrants, but Danish statistics show that 75 percent of the victims of immigrant crime are ethnic Danes.

So what are the Danish authorities doing about this problem? Nothing, as it turns out. Nicolai Sennels soon realized that there are huge differences between the ethnic Danish and the Muslim juvenile offenders. Although all the inmates were tough and loudmouthed, the Danes still had a sense of shame about acting badly towards other people. Not so the Muslims. While the Danes could see that it was their own behavior that had caused them to go to jail, the Muslims routinely blamed their victims.

A common reply from those undergoing Sennels anger management training was:

Why should I not be angry? Then people will lose all respect for me.

Sennels explains the vast difference between our way of handling anger and the Muslim way: In the West, we teach our children internal control, i.e. interacting with other people and controlling your emotions so as not to harm anyone else. Muslim culture, on the other hand, promotes external control, where you try to find the reason for criminal conduct outside of the criminal, rather than inside him.

But not all Muslims are religious, you may say. The truth is that it does not matter if they do not abide by all the Islamic rules, if they drink alcohol and have sex outside of wedlock. Practically all Muslims are raised within a culture where respect equals instilling fear in others. Sennels presents a psychological model that explains the many violent attacks, muggings, rapes, murders and assaults that are perpetrated by Muslims:

1. External control. This is how aggressive emotions are perceived in Muslim culture: It is other peoples fault if you feel emotionally distraught.
2. The perception that you are a victim . If what happens is always someone elses fault, then you are a victim without responsibility for your own situation. You are a victim who has been belittled, oppressed or persecuted.
3. Aggression and revenge as socially acceptable tools. The perceived victimhood leads to a sense of entitlement to retribution. This becomes the moral justification for anger and aggression.

The most frightening thing about Holy Wrath is the insight that Muslim culture is completely incompatible with Western culture. Sennels writes:

Muslims and Danes are so fundamentally different, so that we will never be able to meet without violating our own and each others cultures and values. No matter how much we discuss this topic, in the end, there are only four possible outcomes:

1. We force Muslims who live here to become part of the Danish culture and society. In my experience, and according to a number of studies, this is impossible to implement in reality.
2. We compromise our own culture, including fundamental values such as freedom of speech, gender equality and the separation of state and religion. This would change our society to the very core. The question is: do we think it is worth sacrificing the freedoms of Danish society in order to achieve peace?
3. Muslims and Danes are both allowed to live as they choose, pulling society apart more and more, resulting in very unpleasant conflicts.
4. The Muslims who do not get an education, work, obey the law, accept and adapt to European culture in general will receive aid to return to their home countries and rebuild their lives with dignity there, a place where they understand and accept the culture, and where their lifestyle will in turn be respected.

Sweden is of course faced with the same alternatives. In my mind, there is no question about which option we must choose the latter. Swedes, Danes, and all other Europeans naturally have a right to their own countries, and a right to keep on living in peace and freedom without Islamic violence and oppression.

Everyone should read this book, especially the politicians who have decided that it is a great idea to fill our countries with aggressive Muslims. If you want your children and grandchildren to avoid getting mugged, beaten, raped and murdered by Muslims, you must understand that very few Muslims have any inclination to adapt to the West. We either help them to move back home or we ourselves will perish.

The choice is yours.

There is probably no better way to gain insight into migrant crime and lack of integration than to work as a psychologist in a juvenile detention center. In this book, immigrant kids and youths tell the stories of their lives, growing up in the ghettos, crime, gang wars and drugs. They talk about their upbringing, family patterns and gender roles in Muslim families, what life was like in their home countries, and their relationship with Denmark and the Danes.

I am the first, and so far the only, psychologist to work in Copenhagens only maximum-security juvenile detention center. Therefore, my story offers a unique opportunity to get a peek behind locked doors. The book offers a heretofore unknown insight into what young criminal sometimes radicalized immigrants really say in the therapy room. During my three years as a psychologist at Snderbro, I treated about 250 young criminals in therapy, and about 150 of these were Muslims. Many people have opinions on migrant crime and integration. However, very few have actually sat down and talked to these people about their lives and how they feel.
