TABLE OF CONTENTS
About Author David L. Hack and Psychic Medium Linda Lee Hack

Traditionally this section of most books is written on behalf of the author by other authors, professional colleagues, or friends with name recognition. But this is a special case. The story of this book is not mine. It is the story, in my words, of Linda Lee Hack, an extraordinarily gifted psychic, medium and channeler of spirits. Without apology, and with utmost pride, esteem, and tribute to her accomplishments, I add that she is also my wife. If these bios seem overly long, it is because the reader should know that while we have different backgrounds, our uniting in marriage, and the writing of this book were not fortuitous events. Were they part of our life contracts? It would appear so.

David L. Hack

I was born on July 22, 1933 in New Jersey. My father, Louis Hack, and my mother, Alice McCoy, were neighbors and childhood sweethearts in a small suburb of St. Louis, Missouri where they married. Subsequently they relocated to New Jersey, a move associated with my fathers employment. Three years prior to my birth, my sister, Shirley Hack, was born. Our parents were hard working and best described as middle class. Our mother finished high school, but my father only completed the eleventh grade before leaving school for gainful employment. There were some tough financial times for our family, especially in the years after the great depression of 1929 and during World War II. Nonetheless, our parents never lost sight of their goal that my sister and I would have college educations they were never privileged to have. My sister and I graduated from high school, and with considerable sacrifice on their part, our parents goal was achieved.

My sister graduated from the Womens College of the University of North Carolina with our parents in attendance. Subsequently, she married and had three sons. Unfortunately, Shirley passed away very prematurely dealing a severe emotional blow to our respective families.

I graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a Bachelor of Engineering Degree and from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Laws Degree. My parents were in attendance for both graduations. In between college and law school I was employed as an engineer and had some military experience with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. I practiced law in New Jersey for 38 years primarily as a trial attorney while continuing as an officer in the reserve component of the Army Corps of Engineers for a good part of that time. Along the way two daughters were included in my lifes journey. I retired from practicing law at the end of 1996 and moved to Naples, Florida. Armed with a Coast Guard Small Boat Captains License, my intent was to catch all the fish that swam in the surrounding waters. Not included in the aforesaid intent was meeting my wife Linda Lee in Naples and marrying her twenty three plus years ago.

Linda Lee Hack

Linda Lee, as she is more well-known in the world of psychics, mediums, and the spirit world, was born on February 7, 1949. Her mother, Mary Anna Williams, was from suburban San Diego, California. Her father, Jimmy Webb, was from Stover, Missouri. Jimmy enlisted in the U. S. Army in March of 1941 prior to the entry of the United States into World War II following the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. His regiment was stationed in Panama guarding the Panama Canal. He served throughout the war and was honorably discharged as a sergeant at the conclusion of the war in 1945. Jimmy met Mary Anna while on leave and they were married in 1944. Upon Jimmys discharge from the army, Jimmy and Mary Anna Webb established their home outside of San Diego, California.

Five children were born of the marriage, including Linda Lee. All the children left home at early ages and embarked on their individual paths through adulthood. Linda Lees path included three children of her own, several residences across the country and becoming Linda Lee Hack in Naples, Florida.

Linda Lees emergence as a psychic, medium, channeler of spirits, as well as chronicler, developer, advocate, and integrator of light language as a communicative skill set for psychics, is detailed in later chapters of this book. Linda Lee is an author in her own right, has participated in many programs and seminars as a principal speaker in her field, and she has many clients in the United States and numerous countries around the world.

INTRODUCTION

Linda Lee did not request that I write this book. She is very humble and prefers to let her accomplishments speak for themselves. I, on the other hand, want to accomplish two things. First, to be of assistance in her wish to enlighten and encourage others to pursue any psychic abilities they feel they may have. It is more typical than not, especially for young people, that any fledgling abilities they may have are internally suppressed by embarrassment or concern that others would see them as different or somewhat outside the norm of acceptable social behavior. Second, I want to disclose her unique journey and emergence as a preeminent psychic and medium. I feel her story will be educational, rewarding and encouraging for everyone regardless of whether they have any psychic abilities.

I am not a psychic or medium. Both Linda Lee and I agree that my education, professional background, and life experience have buried any psychic abilities which I may have had within me. If any ever existed, they are beyond recovery at this stage of my life. The law, sports, fishing, and history were my interests until Linda Lee came into my life. Linda Lee patiently tolerated these interests and participated in them with me. However, as her abilities as a psychic emerged and, as they began to develop to the point of being more than an avocation and more of a passion, it became necessary for me to inform myself more about her interests. We did have conversations and she was very tolerant of my questions which at best can be described as less than elementary. Her replies, however, were very profound in nature and included terminology and concepts not within my vocabulary or understanding. I started reading some books she had accumulated on the subjects of psychics, mediums and spirits and my interest in the subjects became more intense.

I did a lot more research on my own and, with more in-depth conversations with Linda Lee, the initial idea developed in my mind to write this book. My intent is to provide the reader with a broad overview of the world of psychics, mediums and spirits coupled with, and illustrated by, Linda Lees firsthand experience. Undoubtedly, readers with knowledge or experience in these fields may find some lack of depth or incompleteness in my survey of the psychic world. To make the point again, the information developed was my starting point research and the gathering of background information. I have included it here to acquaint readers new to this realm with my preliminary endeavors so they may have a head start in their own investigations, if they choose to learn more about or commence their own personal journeys into the psychic world.
