Preface
While you read this book, I ask you to think on these few things that I am going to write here. First, I do not count myself as a talented writer. I am just an old hillbilly. Yet I have been challenged and asked by the Spirit of God to write. This is the third time for me to attempt to write, which the Spirit of God has asked me to write in a book. If this book turns out to be a help to anyone, all of the credit is to go to God, whose Spirit is the author of this book; I have been chosen to be the one to put on paper that which God has given me to write. I chose many years ago to do my best to honor the request of God.
This book is to be an expos of the corruption in public schools in the USA and in the USA as a whole. I do not believe these conditions exist in all schools, yet they do in a very large way in many schools in our country and throughout our country. Evidence is plain to see when we look at the product produced from schools of today. The first evidence that is too large to miss if we look at the findings of a poll taken after the 2016 election of the millennial age group.
It was reported that 70 percent of the millennials could not see anything wrong in socialism, and many did not see anything wrong with communism. When I thought on this, I reasoned this must be what was being taught in our schools; and knowing the media is in the Communists hands, it occurred to me that so are the schools in the hands of the Communists. Again, I do not think all schools are the same; but if they use the same textbooks, they must be.
Having been a teacher and a minister, it is not possible for me to sit idly by and watch this take place in our country. That is why I am happy to be chosen to put Gods desire and my feelings into this book. I am an American citizen of the good ole USA. I was taught to love my country, to be proud of it, and thankful to be allowed to be born in America. God has been so very good to me, and my desire is to hear him say to me, Well done, thou good and faithful servant.
In the Beginning, God
Everything known had a beginning, except God. Mankind began when God created Adam. God the great Creator had made the earth, the great lights, sun and moon, stars, sand, seas, all of the animals, foul of the air, fishes of the seaeverything upon the earthbefore he made Adam (Gen. 1: 26). God gave Adam a garden in Eden to dress and keep (Gen. 2: 16).
One tree was set aside: the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. God said, Thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die (Gen. 2:17 KJV). This was before God created a woman. Evidently God was teaching, educating Adam. So we see that God was not only a great creator but also an educator. Adam was his first student and must have been a good student, for Adam named all of the cattle, Fouls of the air, and every beast of the field (Gen. 2:20). Adam also named the helpmate God made for him. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called woman, because she was taken out of man (Gen. 3:3). And Adam called his wife Eve because she was the mother of all living (Gen. 3: 20).
Before Adam named his wife Eve, she had an encounter with the serpentwhich promised her that if she would eat of the forbidden fruit, Ye shall not surely die. God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be open, knowing good and evil (Gen. 3:45). The serpent as the second educator on earth beguiled Eve, deceived her. Deception is the devils favorite way yet to this very day. He has been using deception against mankind from Adams day and still works in tempting man to go against what God says.
Eve as a student and the serpent as an educator perverted, for the first time, Gods word. It has been said that corrupting [perverting] the truth mars it more than opposing it. I use an illustration to prove that statement true. I recite Galatians 4:4 which says, But when the of the fullness of the time, God sent forth his son, made of a woman, made under the law. I purposely leave out the second word the. Leaving out that word the could very well change the understanding of the topicthat is, the is an adjective that points to a particular time, Gods time. Without the word the there, it does not point a particular time and could be interrupted as just any time. God alone knew the actual time Jesus would come to this world; he alone knows the actual time when he will return. The devil uses such tactics to corrupt the Bible, changing the meaning of that which is holy, corrupting, watering down, misrepresenting the real truth. Please keep this in mind as you read this book.
Education Does Not Always Mean Doing
Adam and Eve were taught not to eat of the fruit on one tree. They had head knowledge, but temptation got in the way. They knew but the supple presentation of the devil surely shows that knowing is not all that is needed to doing what is right. Education is supposed to be teaching that which is correct or right. The doing is our choice. Education that teaches against the truth leads to the corruption of truth. Some people, students especially, are easily led because they do not have a solid educational foundation. Many fit into what a friend of mine said: We are raising a bunch of educated idiots. (idiot: an utterly foolish or senseless person) American College dictionary Education without wisdom is often useless. Wisdom is knowing how to use that which we have learned. Some people have a lot of trivia; useless, not useable information.
A teacher I had in the eighth grade said, You come to school to learn to think. Thinking people, those who have ability to think are always in demand. When we learn to use the knowledge we have we have learned, it will be by being able to think.
Here is an illustration. This story is from many years ago. A large pipe on a pipeline developed a small hole and was leaking a large amount of explosive gas. Several workers and engineers were standing by discussing how to plug the hole. Since the gas was highly explosive, welding was out of question, so other methods were being discussed. A young farm boy standing by took a tree branch, whittled a bit on it, walked over to the pipe, and jammed the branch into the hole to stop the gas. That was wisdom in action. Wisdom is a gift from God (James 1:5). Wisdom is required more on a job site than knowledge. Being able to think pays off.
As children, we learn from those we live with and associate ourselves with. We learn such things as how to walk, talk, and eat, and how to take care of ourselves in many ways. Children normally take their teachers to be honest and interested in helping them learn. That in turn causes them to believe in everything they are taught. But there are exceptions. Some students, if they were properly taught at home, may question something being taught. For example, a student in a biology class interrupted the class as the teacher was trying to present how man had evolved from monkeys. The student said, The Bible says God made the first man. The teacher replied, Youre just too smart. She was not trying to be smart; she just had some good teaching at home.
