    PRAISE FOR THE GOLDEN THREAD

    FROM FAMILY AND FRIENDS

Our Mum is a stunning example of how fulfilling life can be when you align yourself fully with the Word of God. Within the pages of this book lies Gods perfect plan and purpose for your future and a constant reminder of just how much you are loved. Even through the very tough seasons and challenging days, she has always displayed a resilience to live and breathe the Spirit of God, as is evidenced throughout each page of this anointed book. May this book encourage you to seek God in a deeper way, and to trust Him with your storms, your battles, your families, and your future.

Andrew, Amy, Ava Pearl, Roman Emmanuel, and Ruthie Feather

When it comes to being a carrier of the presence of God, we see Mum as one who does this with pure grace. It is no wonder that she pioneered and paved a way for people to experience God in all His fullness through worship. This book not only speaks to the heart of who she is and how she lives her life, but also to the moments when we sometimes find it hard to find hope. We believe that this book will not only bless you, but also empower you to live a life that is fully surrendered to Jesus and allow the Holy Spirit to do a new thing in you.

    Chloe and Hosanna (and Thea)

My amazing mum has made the presence of God so normal for us as we keep learning to welcome the Holy Spirit into every part of our lives. I love that as we worship and as we keep lifting Jesus above everything else, His presence, which is really just like heaven on earth, becomes the one thing that defines us as a person and the one thing that defines our identity. Not only is she just an incredible pioneer in worship but she is a great mum and truly loves her children, grandkids, husband, and friends. So we thank you, Mum, for everything you do for us and I really hope this book blesses lots of people.

    Love, Zoe Jewel

I am so happy to endorse Darlenes new book, The Golden Thread. For me, Darlene has constantly been an example of pursuing the presence of God. She is the kind of person I want to hear from when it comes to the highs and lows of lifes journey. Darlene is a trusted voice. She runs after the heart of God. I know your faith will be lifted and increased with this new treasure.

    Chris Tomlin

This book is such a gift to us all. We still tend to think that bad things do not happen to great people. But here is the story of a great person afflicted by illness and yet who still manages to keep singing. When you see Darlene leading worship its really only a small glimpse into the reservoir of faith and passion she has for her God and for people. She is a great mom and grand mom, devoted wife, local pastor, and lifelong friend. All her dreams are about the presence of God impacting people and this book will give us all more insight into how dedicated she is to seeing that.

Through her music, through her songwriting, through the way she embraces lifeand now through the pages of this bookDarlene Zschech inspires me. From mountaintop highs to some pretty dark valleys, Darlenes faith has guided her steps and now her writing. Darlene and her family have been a blessing to me and my family and now with The Golden Thread I know she will bless you.

DARLENE IS AN AMAZING WORSHIP LEADER, BUT MORE THAN THAT, she is an amazing person. I have had the privilege of knowing her for more than twenty years now, and I can say that in all of that time I have never seen her behave in any way that was not in accord with the character of Jesus. She has known tragedy like most of us, and even in those times she has navigated her circumstances with grace while continuing to minister to others.
