Introduction of The Gnani
One June evening in 1958 at around six o'clock, AmbalalMuljibhai Patel, a family man and a contractor by profession, wassitting on a bench of a busy platform number three at Surat trainstation. Surat is a city in south Gujarat, a western state inIndia. What happened within the next forty-eight minutes wasphenomenal. Spontaneous Self-realization happened within Ambalal M.Patel. During this his ego melted totally and completely. From thattime onwards he became completely detached from all thoughts, speech and acts of Ambalal and he became a living instrument of TheLord for salvation of the world through the path of knowledge. Hecalled this Lord, Dada Bhagwan. This Lord is fully manifest withinme, he told the people who met him. Furthermore he added, Thesame Lord, Dada Bhagwan exists in all living beings. The differencebetween you and me is that in me, The Lord has expressed fullywithin me and in you he is yet to manifest. Who are we?What is God? Who runs this world? What is karma? What isliberation? Etc. All the world's spiritual questions were answered. Thus nature offered absolute vision to the world through the mediumof Shri Ambalal Muljibhai Patel.
Ambalal was born in Tarasali a suburb of the city of Baroda andwas raised in Bhadran, Central Gujarat. Although a contractor byprofession, and married to Hiraba, his life at home and with theworld was exemplary even prior to his Self-realisation. Afterbecoming Self realized and attaining the state of a Gnani, (TheAwakened One, Jnani in Hindi) his body became a public charitabletrust.
Throughout his whole life he lived by the principle that thereshould not be any commerce in religion, and in all commerce theremust be religion. Also he never took any money from anyone for hisown use. He used the profits from his business to take his devoteesfor pilgrimages in various parts of India.
His words became the foundation for the new direct step lesspath to Self-realization called Akram Vignan. Through his divineoriginal scientific experiment (The Gnan Vidhi) he imparted thisknowledge to others within two hours. Thousands have received hisgrace through this process and thousands continue to do so evennow. He called it Akram Vignan (Step less Science, elevator path).Akram means without steps and kram means to rise step by step.Akram is the lift, direct or elevator path. Kramic, the generallyknown traditional path, is an orderly step-by-step path toSelf-realisation. Kram here means orderly, step-by-step spiritualprogress. Akram Vignan is now recognized as a direct shortcut tothe bliss of the Self.
Who isDada Bhagwan?
When he explained to others who 'Dada Bhagwan' is, he wouldsay:
What you see here is not 'Dada Bhagwan.' What you see is 'A. M.Patel.' I am a Gnani Purush and He that is manifest within, is'Dada Bhagwan'. He is the Lord within. He is within youand everyone else. He has not yet manifest within you, whereaswithin me he is fully manifest. I myself am not a Bhagwan. I toobow down to the Dada Bhagwan within me.
CurrentLink for Attaining the Self
Gnani Purush Dadashri used to go from town to town andcountry-to-country to give satsang and impart the knowledge of theSelf as well as knowledge of harmonious worldly interaction to allwho came to see him. In his final days in the fall of 1987, hegraced Dr. Niruben Amin, and gave her the blessings to continue hisWork.
After absolutely revered Dadashri left his mortal body onJanuary 2, 1988. Dr. Niruben continued his Work, traveling withinIndia to cities and villages; and abroad in the USA, Canada, UK andAfrica as Dadashris representative of Akram Vignan. She has beeninstrumental in expanding the key role of Akram Vignan as thesimple and direct path to Self-Realization for modern times.Thousands of spiritual seekers have taken advantage of thisopportunity and are established in the experience of pure Soulwhile carrying out their worldly duties. They experience freedom, here and now, while living their daily life.
After the worldly departure of Atmagnani Niruben Amin on March19 2006, Atmagnani Deepakbhai Desai is carrying on the work ofsharing this science of Gnani Purush Dadashri with people all overthe world.
Powerful words in scriptures help the seeker in increasing thedesire for liberation and thus they represent the path. Theknowledge of the Self is the final goal of all seeking. Without theknowledge of the Self there is no liberation. This knowledge(experience) of the Self (Atmagnan) does not exist in books. Itexists in the heart of a Gnani. Hence the knowledge of the Self canonly be acquired by meeting a Gnani. Through the scientificapproach of Akram Vignan, even today one can attain Atma Gnan, butit can only occur by meeting a living Atma Gnani and receiving theAtma Gnan (Knowledge of The Self). In the path shown by GnaniPurush Dadashri, this process is called the Gnan Vidhi.

Note
This online book, also an E-book, is the English translation ofcompilation of satang with Gnani Purush Dadashri in Gujarati, doneby Dr. Niruben Amin. Satsang means that which connects a humanbeing to his own eternal Self within. It simply means the companyof the Self. This happens whenever there is a Gnani Purush. GnaniPurush means the fully awakened One within a human body. Such aPresence is so phenomenally powerful that it liberates other humanbeings who meet him, or even come to hear about him through variouschannels.
A simple man, who looked like any other gentleman in the latefifties in Gujarat India, became enlightened in 1958. His name:Ambalal.M. Patel. In 1963, is nephews son a young man by the nameof Chandrakant Patel noticed that something had happened withinDada. He used to address Ambalal as dada. Dada means grandfather. He pleaded with Dada to share this with him. Thus began the nowfamous GnanVidhi of Gnani Purush Dadashri. In the book the nameChandulal is used. This is the cardinal question of life. Am IChandulal, or is my name Chandulal? The reader has to substitutehis or her name instead of Chandulal.
The Self within is beyond all names. The owner of the bodycomplex has a name. That is the self, never the Self. That name istemporary and changing even within this life. All suffering;pleasant or painful, short lived or prolonged, is of the self, theego; never of the Self. The understanding -the rise of the flawlessvision, really begins with the understanding that in all thathappens in life, I am the blissful One. That is an experience thatbegins with the Gnan Vidhi. However, other seekers of the keys tofreedom from pains in daily life or anyone else who happens to readthis book of the Gnani, will also derive benefit. For such seekers, the book titled Pratikraman-Gnani Purush Dadashri, would laysolid, an initial ground work for a clearer understanding of thisbook.
This book, flawless Vision begins with the understanding thatall suffering of pain in the current life is my own fault. Itbegins with the understanding of a fault. A fault is that whichhurts anyone. It prevents liberation. Then the Gnani gently liftsthe seeker towards a vision of how the opponent is never at fault, and is in fact faultless. Thus begins the demise of the innerintellect-ego reactions, which prevent a sufferer from gaining anymeaningful resolution of any conflict. And finally comes the partwhich lifts the awakened One of Akram Vignan, the one who hasattained the Self in the Gnan Vidhi, now called a mahatma; to avision of flawlessness that is associated with increasing bliss andstillness as the Self.
