When I was a child, I spent hours playing with a toy called The Original Wooly Willy Magnetic Personality. With a magnetic wand, I could move metal shards around and cover Wooly Willys bald head and face with the silliest hairdos, craziest mustaches, wildest eyebrows, and scraggly whiskers too.

With that magnetic wand in hand, all the metal shards followed wherever my wand took them. Whatever I could imagine, whatever I could envision, the metal shards were ready and waiting to follow my lead.

Given our current situationthe fragmentation of our world and our societieseverything feels disconnected and disjointed. Nothing feels normal, nothing feels certain, and we feel weaker than we actually are. Fragmentation does that.

Our world is in desperate need of Magnetic Leaders who will respond, choose to act, pick up the baton in the marathon of leadership, and draw out from their followers the essential actions which bring them together to create a better future in and through the lives of those they love and lead. If ever there was a time and a need for magnetic leadership, the time is now because, throughout world history, weve never been splintered and fragmented quite like this before.

Thats why I will remain ever grateful for the day that author Chris and editor Mark (whom I lovingly dubbed, Peter and Paul), let me interject myself into their friendship when I reminded them it was never just Peter and Paul, it was always Peter, Paul, and Mary! Thus, I became the Mary to their Peter and Paul relationship.

Within the context of that friendship that began four years ago, I dubbed Chris McClure The Implementor because he was and is a man of actiona good and godly man of action.
