I dedicated my first two books to my family.
However, family can also extend beyond
just those youre related to.
I want to dedicate this book to the Behold Israel team,
ministry partners, and close friends. Like Aaron and Hur,
you have held my arms up through the good times and the bad.
I love you, and I am so thankful God has blessed me with you.
First and foremost, I want to thank the Lord for His faithfulness throughout my life. Before I was even born, He loved me deeply and had a plan for my life. What a blessing it is to serve my Savior each and every day.
Steve Yohn, I want to thank you for your assistance in writing this book. When it looked like we were going to lose you during the writing process, prayers were offered up around the worldand God answered! Steve, I thank God for you and for all that He has done in you and through you these past months.
I want to thank my wife, Miriam, my four children, and my new daughter-in-law. Your love and support for me have never waned, even as the Lord has led me away from home so often. A husband and father could not be more blessed than I have been.
I want to thank my team at Behold Israel for their love, support, and dedicationMike, H.T. and Tara, Gale and Florene, Donalee, Joanne, Nick and Tina, Jason, Abigail, Jeff, and Kayo. Also, thanks to all your spouses and children who often sacrifice their family time with you to further the spreading of Gods Word.
Special thanks to the many translators who have made my YouTube messages available in 20 different languages. Also, I offer great thanks to the many ministry coordinators around the globe who ensure everything runs smoothly at our conferences.
Thank you, Shane, for your great work on our graphics and social media. Thank you, Jon, for our excellent app and website. Thank you, Don, for your excellent work at Veni Graphics. Also, thank you to the team at Tenfold BPO for all that you do.
Thank you to Barry Stagner, Jan Markell, and Rick Yohn for your wisdom and your rich insight into Gods Word. Thank you also to Pastor Jack Hibbs and Pastor Steve Berger and your wonderful families.
Thank you to our many ministry friends, including Andy and Gail, Wayne and Cindy, and Amanda and Ian. Your wisdom, mentoring, and practical help are invaluable. This could not be done without you!
A shout-out to our Youth Adult Discipleship Groupits been amazing to watch those of you in the next generation grow in your dedication to Christ. And for the three young couples who met during one of our tours and have since gotten marriedmazel tov!
Thank you to Bob Hawkins and Steve Miller, and the wonderful team at Harvest House, for all your hard work in making this book happen.

An Unchanging God in an Ever-Changing World
I ts Christmas Day, 2019. All twelve seats around the dining table are filledtwo generations gathered together. In the living room are a couple smaller tables surrounded with children, the second table having been added this year due to the family expanding to a third generation. Every little hand and every small face appears to have some type of food on itpotatoes, gravy, butter, even corn has found a way to stick on the cheeks of several. Two of the moms excuse themselves from the main table to begin the process of wiping down children and collecting dishes.
Back at the main table, everyone pushes themselves back a little from the food to resist the temptation to indulge in the leftovers. Thats when Uncle Barney speaks upand everyone rolls their eyes. Barney has always been a bit of a conspiracy theorist and, whenever hes given the opportunity, is ready to share his views about the Kennedy assassination, the moon landings, and where Jimmy Hoffa is buried. Before Mom can rescue everyone with the offer of pie, Barney launches into his latest.
Have you been watching the news? he begins, using his traditional six-word intro. Not the networks or cable junk, but the real news. I saw the other day that there are people in China getting sick from some new virus. People are saying this has the potential to explode across the world. It could even reach pandemic status. If that happens, its possible that we may have to shut down the whole American economy. There could be mass quarantines and stay-at-home orders. Only essential businesses would be allowed to stay open. Pastors may even get arrested just for holding church services.
