Look beyond the title there are gems of wisdom inside! Ill be straight as someone who values kindness, the phrase suck it up, princess isnt my jam. So Id usually walk by a title like this - but as they say dont judge a book by its cover! Surprisingly compassionate, and definitely smart and real (much like Natalie), this is a beautiful read especially if youre usually a go-getter (but have been going through a bit of a slump in an area of your life or work).

To my Mum, Gina.
Your full name, Regina, embodies the Queen you truly are.
Thanks for showing this Princess what true strength, determination, love, honesty, and elegance truly are.
This Book Is for You
You have big things you want to put out in the world, lady!
Youre here to make a dent. Create an impact. Leave a legacy.
But sometimes:
- Your inner critic derails your best-laid plans.
- Imposter syndrome plagues you like a shadow, stopping you in your tracks.
- And procrastination, that bitch, rears her ugly head, every time you get inspired and start creating.
Or are these all really just excuses? Do you need to Suck It Up, Princess, and develop the right mindset, habits, and strategies to kick ass and go for it in work and in life?
Suck It Up, Princess is an inspiring, refreshingly honest, witty, fun, loving, and ass-kicking book, designed to show you where you can take control of your life and bring out your inner heroine.
Youll learn, as I have, when you need to forge ahead and just do it and when you need to slow down, and show yourself some damn compassion!
When the best times are for self-love, fine wine, and time with your best girlfriends.
When life-affirming mantras, incense, and a yoga mat could be just the breakthrough youre looking for.
And when you need to get out of your own way and give yourself permission to dream big, and do bigger.
As someone whos always gone for it in every area of lifebeing a goal-getter, smashing world records, and getting a gold medal in Ultimate FrisbeeI felt I had a pretty good handle on what it takes to live an awesome life.
Add to that quitting the rat race in 2008 and buying a one-way plane ticket to Canada to start and build a multiple-six-figure blog and education business while living out of a suitcase and travelling the world full-time.
Life was fabulous and I thought I had it all together.
That was until I came back to my homeland of New Zealand and did a complete 180-degree change in my life and work, which took me two damn years to get over, and threw into the air all I knew in the world to be true.
Whats more, it took some deep diving into myself, personal growth, massive amounts of reflection, some awesome failures that rattled me to my core, and a sucky period ofwell, feeling sucky, for me to realise the truth:
