Easter! T he sleepy flowers are waking up. The birds are beginning to sing again. It must be spring! Signs of Gods love are everywhere in spring the warm sunshine, the colorful flowers, the tiny bunnies. Soon we get to enjoy Easter Sunday with our families. Every Easter we celebrate a gift God gave us many, many years ago.

He showed us His love in an extra special way. The Father has loved us so much!
He loved us so much that we are
called children of God. And we
really are his children. 1 John 3:1 We love because
God first loved us. 1 John 4:19 Thank
You, God We thank You, God,
For happy hearts,
For rain and sunny weather.
We thank You, God,
For springtime flowers
And that we are together. The Lord is all I need.
He takes care of me.

Psalm 16 : 5 The little birds fly over,
And oh, how sweet they sing!
To tell the happy children
That once again tis spring. And buttercups are coming,
And scarlet columbine,
And in the sunny meadows
The dandelions shine. And just as many daisies
As their soft hands can hold
The little ones may gather,
All fair in white and gold. Here blows the warm red clover.

O happy little children,

the Children G od showed us His love by sending His only Son, Jesus, to earth. Jesus spent a lot of time teaching others about God and helping them. Many people wanted to see Him, hear Him, or ask Him to heal someone who was sick.

Sometimes people would bring their children to Him. One day, His helpers tried to make the boys and girls go away. But Jesus said, Let the little children come to Me. Dont stop them. Thousand J esus did many miracles to help others.

One day, a large crowd of people had spent the entire day listening to Him teach about Gods love. But when dinnertime came, the people were hungry. Only one boy had brought food, and he had only five loaves of bread and two fish. But Jesus knew what to do. He prayed, Thank You, Father, for this food. Then His helpers shared the bread and fish with everyone.

To their surprise, the more they shared, the more food there was! More than five thousand people ate as much as they wanted, and twelve baskets of food were left over. from Matthew 14:13 21 Dear
Father Father, we thank You for the night
And for the pleasant morning light,
For rest and food and loving care
And all that makes the day so fair. Help us to do the things we should,

the King O ne day, Jesus and His friends were on their way to Jerusalem. Jesus told two of His disciples Oto find a small donkey in the town and bring it to Him.

The two men did as He asked, and Jesus rode the donkey into the city. The people of Jerusalem were so excited to see Jesus! They cut palm branches from the trees and spread them on the road. They threw their coats on the ground in front of Jesus and shouted, God bless the king who comes in the name of the Lord!
