Dear Dads, The relationship a little boy has with his dad is so important. A good relationship helps establish a good self-image and self-confidence. Most little boys think their dads can do absolutely anything. Dad has a unique ability to teach his son the truths of the Bible and how to apply Scripture to life.

The Little Boys Bible Storybook for Fathers and Sons provides an opportunity to look at well-loved Bible stories through the eyes and hearts of the Bible characters who lived them. We dont really know how these people felt about the experiences they lived through. But they were people like we are, so we can imagine how they felt. By thinking about how these people may have felt, we can learn lessons of how to apply Scripture to our lives and how to make God real in every aspect of life. Caron Turk has hidden a little angel or lizard in each illustration. I know that you and your little boy will have fun looking for them.

Hopefully, youll be able to discuss the Bible story as you do your angel/lizard search. Caron and I pray that this book will provide hours of together time and entertainment with a purpose for you and your son. We pray that you will grow closer together and that both you and your son will go deeper in your relationship with the Lord through reading and talking about this book. God bless,

How It All Began
Genesis 1 You look like a rabbit And Ill call you a turtle Adam said He took the job - photo 3
You look like a rabbit. And Ill call you a turtle, Adam said. He took the job of naming the animals very seriously.

How did you think of making so many animals? Adam asked God. Let me tell you how the world was made, God answered. In the beginning, everything was dark and empty. I said, Let there be light! and light came. I made day and night and earth and sky. Then I filled the land with every kind of plant.

That must have taken a long time, Adam interrupted. Three days. Three days Adam was amazed What did you do next The fourth day I sprinkled - photo 4

Three days? Adam was amazed. What did you do next? The fourth day I sprinkled stars in the night sky, made the sun to light the day, and the moon to light the night, God said. The fifth day I filled the oceans with all kinds of things that swim. When did you make birds? Adam asked.

That same day. I filled the sky with all kinds of things that fly. The sixth day I made animals Then I turned my attention to you God continued - photo 6

The sixth day I made animals. Then I turned my attention to you, God continued. Me? Adam didnt know what to think. Yes, I made you, Adam, to be able to think and make decisions.

You can love and care for others. Wow, thats awesome. What did you do next? Adam wondered. I looked around at all I had made and I liked everything I saw. So on the seventh day, I rested, God said. Becoming a Man of God A man of God is made in Gods image God made people in - photo 8
Becoming a Man of God A man of God is made in Gods image.

God made people in his image. We can think and make decisions and learn the difference between right and wrong. You are made in Gods image. He made you the way you are. Learn about the talents God gave you and how you can use them to help other people. A Verse to Remember So God created humans in his image.

In the image of God he created them. He created them male and female. Genesis 1:27

The Bite That Changed the World
Genesis 3 Eve what are you doing Adam asked You heard God say Everything in the garden - photo 9
Eve, what are you doing? Adam asked. You heard God say Everything in the garden is for you, but dont touch the tree in the middle of the garden. Now youre eating fruit from that tree. Youre in big trouble! Relax, God didnt mean it.

That snake explained it to me, Eve said as she pointed out the snake. The snake said that if we ate this fruit we would be more like God. I tasted it and I didnt die. Come on, give it a try, Eve said. This is the sweetest juiciest fruit youll ever taste she teased Adam grabbed - photo 10

This is the sweetest, juiciest fruit youll ever taste, she teased. Adam grabbed it out of her hand and sank his teeth into it.

This is delicious, he mumbled, as juice dripped down his chin. Out of the corner of his eye Adam saw the snake slither away. Eve, do you know what weve done? Adam said. Tears rolled down his cheeks. God gave us one rule but we broke it. Later that day God came looking for Adam and Eve They were hiding because - photo 12
