Introduction

When my publishers suggested I write a book devoted solely to Pisces, I was thrilled. Ive long wanted to concentrate exclusively on your wonderful sign. You are very special in the zodiac. Astrology teaches that Pisces is the sign of imagination, fantasy, and intuition. Your sign represents mystery and mysticism, nurturing, sympathy, and deep creativity. The ancients called Pisces the sign of spiritual understanding, for you are in touch with the deeper truths of life. You see into peoples emotions and sorrows; in relationships, you merge on a heart level, and your style of loving is selfless. Karmic teachers say you were picked to be Pisces because, in a previous life, you were a mystic and healer who eased the suffering of your fellow man. But whether or not one believes in past lives, in this life you are Pisces, the remarkable sign of the artist, creator, and dreamer.

These days it has become fashionable to be a bit dismissive of Sun signs (the sign that the Sun was in at the time of your birth). Some people sniff that everyone knows about Sun signs. They say the descriptions are too cookie-cutter, too much a cardboard figure, too inclusive (how can every Piscean be the same?).

Of course every Piscean is not the same! And many of these differences not only are genetic and environmental, but are differences in your charts . The Sun is also the most important and pervasive influence in your horoscope and in many ways determines how others see you. Your Sun sign governs your individuality, your distinctive style, and your drive to fulfill your goals.
