Dr. Ulmer is one of the most strategic Christian leaders in the nation. His impact in helping people understand Gods principles for life is enriching while remaining biblical. It is hard to overstate the impact Dr. Ulmer makes on tens of thousands of Christians every week.

Ken Ulmer is one of Americas new voices, rising with a penetrating call to pragmatic spiritual dynamics. As a Christian leader, he stands tall; as a servant to society, he stands out; as a friend, he stands trustworthy; as a man of God, he stands closein touch with our Father, that he might be in touch with Him whose touch can change the world. Knowing Dr. Ulmer as I do, I attest to this: the man is real to the core! The truths with which he inspires multitudes becomes real and livable because he is relating what hes learned and lived and proven.

Dr. Ken Ulmer does what he does best. He slices through the confusion, misunderstanding and misinformation and then clearly and accurately explains the Scripture.

Foreword
When I met Dr. Ulmer, I was immediately impressed with the obvious strength and nobility of his influence and leadership. He has discovered the fountainhead of all the greatest achievements that men and women have accomplished in the Kingdom, which is hearing and obeying the voice of God. Throughout biblical and Church history, its almost impossible to find any great servant of Christ acting independently of Gods guidance and achieving anything but disaster. As you read through the accounts of Moses, David, the prophets, Jesus, Peter, Paul, Martin Luther, John Wesley, Billy Graham, and so on, you will see that all had moments of encounter when God spoke to them and they obeyed.
In our fast-paced world, we desperately need to hear this message, urging us to stop, be quiet and listen so that we can do what were meant to do, thus accessing all the strength, resources and divine circumstances made available to those who do the will of God. We are so in need of discovering the counsel of God instead of running to every other type of counselor available in our world today. The one thing David desired of God was that he would be able all the days of his life to enquire in the Temple and thus gain the guiding voice of God for his life. He knew this was the secret to living the blessed life. Dr. Ulmers teaching on this, born from his own experience of hearing, doing and being blessed, will assist you to walk with Christ into your best life.

INTRODUCTION
Such a Time as This
With increasing ferocity during the past decade or so, the world has been going through an unusually intense period of transition, including political upheaval, wars and rumors of war, and a stunning transference of wealth from the lower and middle classes to the upper economic echelons. These have been times of unparalleled poverty, increasing disease and wickedness in high places. Yet, the Lord has called us to the Kingdom for such a time as this (Esther 4:14). This is our timea time when vast opportunities have opened up to expand the Kingdom of light in this world of darkness. All we need to do is to know and to heed Gods voice.
We live in a culture that is more diversified, more cynical, more humanistic than at any time in history. Theological-religious and ethnic-racial pluralism has, in many parts of the world, disintegrated into devastating walls of division. Tension between the great monotheistic religions of Judaism, Christianity and Islam is poised like a sword over the necks of future victims of a coming storm. However, in these perilous times of spiritual sectarianism, sociological despair and ethical disparity, God continues to call to the church, saying, Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations (Matt. 28:19). Come out from the comfort of the padded pews and stained glass windows, and come into an atmosphere of obedience to Gods Word as the return of the Lord draws near. In fact, Gods marching orders to the church can be summarized in three commissions: (1) the Great Commission, (2) the Greater Commission, and (3) the Greatest Commission.
The Great Commission
We must never forget the mandate of the great commission, stated by Jesus in Mark 16:15, that we are to
