Craig Johnson is uniquely qualified to write on vertical leadership for one primary reason: he has lived his life and led others from the perspective of heaven. This is needed now more than ever. During times of economic troubles and global dangers when many experts are talking about a slow and painful recovery and redefining success as lowered expectations, Craig reminds us that the most important question to ask is, How does God see me and my situation? Both as his pastor and his friend, I have witnessed firsthand how God uses Craig to encourage and inspire leaders and growing believers to throw off limitations and fulfill their divine destiny. Through this book, I believe He will do the same for you.

FOREWORD
Many times God puts big dreams in our hearts, only to see our accomplishments limited because of our small thinking and low expectations. In order to remove those limits and get to that next level in life, we need a new way of thinking, a new perspective. If we want to lead effective lives and effective ministries, we have to lead from Gods perspective.
This is just what David wanted when he prayed, [Lord], Lead me to the Rock that is higher than I (Psalm 61:2). What was David asking for? David was asking God to give him a new perspective, to take him higher so he could see things from Gods perspective.
This higher-level approach to leading and team building is just what Craig Johnson describes in his new book Lead Vertically. In it, he will show you how to partner with God to take your ministry, business and family higher, and give you Gods perspective on how to grow your organization, how to expand your team and, most importantly, how to build people Gods way with dreams, inspiration and hope.
