This book is dedicated
to the glory of
THE LORD JESUS CHRIST
who through the Eternal Spirit
has imparted unto me divine enlightenment
on the matter of divine intimacy.
To my parents, Reverend Arthur C. Macklin Sr. and Maria W. Macklin, who constantly intercedes for me.
To the late Bishop James R. Peebles, Sr. and Apostle Betty P. Peebles.
To Tommy Tenney and his Spirit-inspired masterpiece God Chasers.
To Stacy Evans for your dedication and commitment to this project.
And to all who have taken the time to develop intimacy with Daddy and have passed on your experience to so many others.
THANK YOU ALL!
And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of israel.
~ Exodus 25:22
T he readers of Daddys Waiting on You by Minister Rickey E. Macklin, will be blessed as they learn how it is absolutely imperative for all believers to develop a relationship of intimacy beyond the veil.
There the grace and mercy of the Trinity brought about by the life, death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ grants us permission to enter into the Holy of Holies (Hebrews 9).
This book shares the process involved in getting believers to the place where God can constantly tabernacle with us as we become His dwelling place (Psalm 91).
So get ready to
Release your tears of joy,
Pursue your intimacy with Daddy,
Establish your intimacy with Daddy,
Maintain your intimacy with Daddy.
Daddys Waiting on You contains a message that believers will not only read and share with others, but also will become doers of the message penned (James 1:22).

A Journey into His Presence
O f all the wonderful things that we can do or acquire in this life, nothing is more satisfying than time alone with Daddy-God beyond the veilthe veil that separates us from His holy presence. (Well learn a lot about this veil and how to tear it down in chapter 4).
Instead of asking how to get beyond that veil, the reality of life causes us to ask so many other questions:
What am I going to do in life?
What should I do next?
Should I take this job?
Whats my purpose?
Who am I to marry?
Should I buy a house now or should I wait?
When should I start pastoring?
Should I have children?
What about my career?
You have probably tried with great effort to answer these questions for your own life. As a result of ineffective answers, you may have suffered through a divorce, abortion, or foreclosure; or perhaps youve become a frustrated employee, even a neglected child. There are answers that lead to better outcomes.
When I ponder these questions today, Im often reminded of this psalm penned by King David, the second king of the nation of Israel:
Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep (Psalm 127:1-2).
As I look at the above passage, its clear that, as the late Pastor Betty Peebles would say, If the Lord does not provide the blueprint, then all the laboring and sweat you put into building your house is simply in vain.
What is the house that you are building? It could be your family, your job, the selection of your mate, or even the purpose for your life that you choose instead of Gods purpose you discover. In other words, you cannot just do things your own way and then expect God to come and bless them. No! Just find out Gods plan and purpose for your life, and the blessings and favor of God will already be in it and upon it!
Psalm 127 also says that except the Lord keep the city, the watchmen waketh but in vain.
What are you saying here, David?
Its sort of like this: You can be as active, accomplished, and alert as possible in the natural realm, but if you havent tapped into the spiritual realm to see what Daddy-God has to say, the enemy will come in, spoil your goods, and destroy your home. Why? Because the Lord didnt give you the blueprint for what you are trying to do in the natural realm; therefore, the Lord is not obligated to keep it. Verse 2 of this psalm says that it is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep.
There is a place reserved just for you on the other side of the mountain.
Nice finishing touch. God says your work is useless. You are wasting your time getting up early, going to bed late, eating the bread of sorrow, and worrying about something that you cant fix. If you had gotten Gods plan from the beginning, you would understand that God gives his beloved sleep, and you could trulygo to bed!
In this book, I trust that the Holy Spirit will indeed lead you to that place of absolute rest in God. Sure there are many questions, but there are also many answers. Although you have these questions, just for a moment, lets lay them aside and find out what Daddy is waiting on.
There is a place reserved just for you on the other side of the mountaina place where you can climb up on Daddys lap, lay your head on His chest, and have an experience with Him that will change your life forever. Ive been blessed with this experience and have returned to let you know that Daddy is now waiting on you.
Tears of Joy
N ot too long ago, I was trying to answer so many of those questions we talked about earlier: Who would be my mate? What was Gods next move for my life? How long would it take? Where was He taking me in ministry?
