Here are 20 tipsfrom the worlds ultimate success coach:
Tip #1: DONT LET YOURPAST DEFINE YOU
Yourpast does not equal your future.
Ive come to believe that allmy past failure and frustration were actually laying the foundationfor the understandings that have created the new level of living Inow enjoy.
No matter whatyour past looks like, its important to acknowledge that the pastis just a chain of time where certain decisions were made andoutcomes were periodically produced. If you make new decisions andtake new actions, its impossible for your future to look like yourpast, because youd literally be living in a different way.
Many of us carryburdens and regret from the past with us for decades, not realizingthat the events that disturbed our lives the most have no patternof repetition and no place in our future unless of course we repeatthe same behaviors and habits.
Starting today, you can define what your future will look and feel like by makingconscious decisions in the present. You can release your deepestfears about your past and embrace your future with courage andexcitement, knowing that you learned from any mistakes that youmade along the way.
As Tony teaches, sometimes our past can serve as the foundation of our ultimatesuccess because it teaches us more than we would learn on a smoothjourney to the top. That means that theres no reason to regret it:it taught you everything that you needed to know for your futureand exposed exactly who you dont want to be.
