WHO IS ARNOLDSCHWARZENEGGER?
Arnold Schwarzenegger is an Austrian-American actor,businessman, filmmaker, author, philanthropist, investor, formerprofessional bodybuilder and former politician who has achieved anet worth of over $400 million. He served two terms as the 38thgovernor of California from 2003-2011.
He is known as thebiggest icon in bodybuilding and as the greatest bodybuilder of alltime, achieving seven Mr. Olympia titles, three Mr. Universe titlesand multiple weight and power lifting titles.
He was born on 30July 1947 in Thal, Austria to Gustav and Aurelia Schwarzenegger. Hehad one brother, Meinhard, who died in a car accident in 1971.Since the age of 10, it was Schwarzeneggers dream to live inAmerica, something that he achieved by the age of 21 after winningthe Mr. Universe title.
He beganbodybuilding when he was 14 years old, picking up his first barbellin 1960 during soccer practice. After school, he was sent to servethe Austrian army for one year, as per the requirement, but hespent his time training for his bodybuilding career. He went AWOLto compete in the Mr. Junior Europe contest, winning it at the ageof 18. By the age of 20 he became the youngest person to ever winthe Mr. Universe title and at the age of 23, he became the youngestMr. Olympia of all time, a record that he still holds today.
One of the judgesfrom his 1966 Mr. Olympia competition, Mr. Charles Bennett, offeredto coach him and to host him at his home in London England.Schwarzenegger accepted and the training paid off, as one yearlater he snatched the Mr. Universe title. He moved to America in1968 to train under Joe Weider at the Golds Gym in Venice, LosAngeles. There he met professional wrestlers Ric Drasin and BillyGraham who he trained with, winning the Mr. Olympia title sixconsecutive times.
In 1977, hepublished his autobiography and weight training guide, Arnold: TheEducation of a Bodybuilder, which became a huge success. Aftertaking intensive English classes he signed up for a BA degree inInternational Fitness and Business Administration at the Universityof Wisconsin-Superior, graduating through correspondence in 1979.By 1983, he was awarded American citizenship, which he describes asone of the best days of his life.
His next dream wasto become a great actor, something that came to fruition throughhis role in Conan the Barbarian in 1982. He went on to star in TheTerminator in 1984, which is where his acting career took off.Since then, he has starred in multiple movies like Commando,Running Man, Predator, Twins, Total Recall, Kindergarten Cop, TrueLies and The Expendables.
In 2003, afterbeing a registered Republican for many years, he was elected asGovernor of California. Preceding his role as Governor, he wasappointing by George H.W. Bush as the Presidents Council onPhysical Fitness and Sports from 1990-1993 and as the Red CrossAmbassador from 1993-1994. As a philanthropist, he has beeninvolved with the Special Olympics for many years and has alsofounded the Inner City Games Foundation and The SchwarzeneggerInstitute for State and Global Policy. His programs offer cultural,educational and community enrichment programming to the youth,which includes 250 000 children and 400 schools.
As a businessman,Schwarzenegger has been involved in the bricklaying, restaurant andfitness business, as well as making multiple investments infranchises such as the Planet Hollywood restaurant chain.
He was married toMaria Shriver, niece of President J.F Kennedy, from 1986-2011, andthey have four children together. He also has one son with a formermember of house staff, Mildred Patricia Baena.
Schwarzeneggercurrently lives in his 11 000 square foot home in Brentwood,California and still trains for a minimum of thirty minutes per dayfor strength. In 1997, he underwent heart surgery to replace anaortic valve which was defective since birth and resumed trainingshortly afterward to maintain his fitness.
Nicknamed TheAustrian Oak, Arnie and The Governator, Schwarzeneggercontinues to set gigantic goals and to inspire his fans to becomeeverything that they have ever dreamed of becoming. He currentlyaspires to run for President in America, even though he will haveto overcome giant legal hurdles to do it.

Strategy #1: GETSCULPTED BY STRUGGLE
Strength does not come from winning. Your strugglesdevelop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decidenot to surrender, that is strength.
If youve everfailed, you know how hard it is to get back on your feet and tokeep pushing towards a goal. Most people will try to dissuade youfrom trying something again because they want to protect you fromthe pain. To be pushing through a wave of disappointment andresistance is hard to do all on your own, but if you do it, youllbe building character, strength, and experience.
In some ofSchwarzeneggers toughest moments, people told him We never want to look like you. His reply? Dont worry, you never will!
No matter whatpeople tell you, or how likely failure might be, just remember thatthe worlds most successful people have been through similarmoments in their life and because they got themselves to pushthrough the pain, they managed to succeed at a level that got themglobal significance.
