David Wills, president emeritus, National Christian Foundation
Much like his mentor Bob Buford did in his book Finishing Well , Mac has chosen well the stories of men and women whose humble response to Gods prompting became a calling to live disruptively.
Greg Barnes, president and senior consultant, Halftime Talent Solutions
A Disruptive Generosity is a compelling series of stories that ignites ones desire to give generously. An inspiring road map to experiencing the joy of giving.
Holt Lunsford, founder and chairman, Holt Lunsford Holdings
Spiritual renewal is always followed by economic revitalization (Matthew 6:33). In his new book, Mac Pier reminds us of the powerful connection between philanthropy and gospel movements. A must-read for those who live at the intersection of faith and culture.
A. R. Bernard Sr, president/CEO, Christian Cultural Center/Commission of Religious Leaders
Piers decision to hold a magnifying glass over the generosity of a few will light an unquenchable fire of generosity in a countless multitude.
Julian Archer, founder, Faith vs. Finance
Stories are the currency of the day, and in his book Disruptive Generosity , Pier opens up a global treasure trove that shows the correlation of Kingdom movements and generous givers.
Daryl Heald, founder, Generosity Path
God is the Ultimate Giver, Jesus is the Ultimate Disruptor. He changed it all. Scripture says The world of the generous gets larger and larger; the world of the stingy gets smaller and smaller (Proverbs 11:24), and in Macs book we come to a better understanding of Gods call to us to live bigger lives and to be change agents, disruptors, in a world that cries out for change. God is inviting us to reflect his generosity toward us through our generosity toward him and others; our giving changes the world and is the great apologetic of today!
J. Todd Peterson, chairman, Pro Athletes Outreach; NFL kicker, 19932005; chairman emeritus, Seed Company
Mac Pier keeps strong company! Mac has introduced us to obedient co-laborers who will sharpen the iron in our own lives to yield rich fruit.
Katherine Barnhart, The GROVE Group
Using biblical truths from Isaiah, Mac Pier shows how modern-day leaders demonstrate the faithfulness of God in their disruptive generosity. God is indeed the Great Choreographer using our modern-day generosity to fulfill his ancient promises.
Michal Powell, Dallas community leader
Dedication
I dedicate this book to leaders who have shaped my own generosity.
Billy Graham, who challenged Marya and me to go anywhere in the world God would send us at the Urbana 79 Student Missions Conference.
Desmond Tutu and John Perkins, who challenged me to be radical in my love for the entire body of Christ.
Bob Buford, who has been so disruptively generous and helped me launch the New York City Leadership Center in 2008.

Foreword
Mac Pier is one of the most effective leaders in the world. I mean those words literally. Whether measured against presidents or prime ministers, generals or multinational CEOs, megachurch pastors or global parachurch leaders, his gifting, passion, and results are absolutely unique and globally transformative.
It has been my personal privilege to know and work with Mac across many years in many settings. I have seen him encourage leaders over private lunches in Dallas and heard him speak to thousands of leaders from around the world in New York City. I have spent multiplied hours with him in personal conversation and public gatherings.
I have never known a leader as gifted as Mac at gathering the body of Christ and inspiring them to greatness. I have never seen a leader as passionate about reaching every nation with the good news of Gods love. He is a visionary with the courage of Peter, a scholar with the mind of Paul, an encourager with the spirit of Barnabas, and a Christ-follower with the passion of John.
