The book of Jeremiah speaks of men who are valiant for truth on the earth. My friend, Pastor Jurgen Matthesius, is one such man. Many miss the plan of God for their lives because of wrong thinking and wrong believing about His activity in our world. When they are unable to reconcile the idea of a loving, all-powerful God to the evil they see and experience, they reject Him or form false doctrines to explain what they think is His behavior. In either case, they become ineffective servants of God, and more sadly still, they distance themselves from the intimate friendship He desires to have with them.
