THE
Series!
Dear Reader:
You are about to embark on a life-altering journey. By picking up this book, youve already taken the first step toward inviting more positive energy into your life.
When I first took on the adventure of feng shui, I naively thought that moving some furniture around was all I had to do in order to apply the ancient Chinese principles of this practice. I thought all I really needed to do was move my water fountain to a different corner of my living room to increase the flow of greater prosperity into my life. I was wrong. Feng shui is about so much more than such selfishnessits about shifting the old mindsets that have blocked you from your greatest potential. Its about making positive changes in your life in order to be in more perfect flow, harmony, and balance. Its about recognizing and respecting your place in the Universe.
Today you are beginning to open your mind to the world of feng shui and all its magnificent wonders. Youll move some furniture, but youll also remove clutter from your environment and cleanse your mind, opening yourself up to new opportunities to create a better, happier, and more balanced life.
Writing this book has brought me closer to peace and harmony than Ive ever beenand its brought me new opportunities in the form of helpful new people. One of those people, feng shui consultant Kris Halter, whose introduction and tips grace and bless this book, is now a friend with whom I feel a strong connection.
There are no accidents. You will experience positive growth on your own new path using the ancient wisdom of feng shui. This book has changed my life for the better. May it do the same for yours, starting right now!

Introduction
By Kris Halter, Feng Shui Consultant
When I teach feng shui, I always begin with an acknowledgment. I tell my students, I am teaching you what you already know. Im just reminding you that you know it!
But what is feng shui, and how will it change your life? Translated literally, feng shui means wind and water. It is a language of symbols that focus on the individual and relates everything in our space to our conscious and unconscious minds. It encompasses the forces of nature and the energies within and around us. What you learn when you practice feng shui is how to work with your intentions in ways that attract the best things into your life, while simultaneously showing you how to disperse or eliminate the negative things.
