INTRODUCTION
LETS JUMP RIGHT TO IT! I was a young kid and older women introduced me to sex. This experience perverted my young life and steered me down a path of depravity. I developed relationship after relationship based on things that were far away from any righteous foundation.
As I lived, I discovered that many of the women I had these encounters with were living in my head, many years after the affairs. They were in my SOUL, and in some cases, I was in theirs. Have you ever had anyone living in your head?
This reality would constantly creep into every new relationship and sabotage its success.
Why did my mind constantly revert to old people and old experiences? Why was my history imposing itself upon my present and even assassinating my destiny?
At the time, I had no understanding of spiritual dynamics, and I had no concept of soul-ties. It does not matter if we are aware or ignorant; if we contact fire, it will always burn us.
Ignorance is not bliss! Ignorance is dangerous and possibly fatal. I was in the grips of a demonic stronghold. I had developed soul-ties, and it took me many years to break free and to be my best self.
Over the years, I have dealt with hundreds of people who have gone through the same things I did. In some cases, my experiences have served to guide many through the treacherous waters of soul-ties. As you read this book, my prayer is that you too will find the freedom that others and I have attained.

CHAPTER 1.
WHAT ARE SOUL-TIES?

The very term soul-tie carries a sense of spooky spirituality. Religious people become apprehensive and suspicious. The term soul- tie is not found in the bible, but the principle and function of soul-ties are clearly there.
A soul-tie is defined as a spiritual and emotional connection that ties one persons life to another in an ungodly fashion.
The Bible speaks of souls being knit together, becoming one flesh, etc.
For instance, the Bible says in 1 Samuel 18:1
And it came to pass, when he had made an end of speaking unto Saul, that the soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul.
Here we see the souls of Jonathan and David being knit together in brotherhood. This is an example of a righteous soul-tie instigated by the Holy Spirit. The connection was healthy for both and provided a foundation for righteousness in both parties.
We see another biblical example of an unrighteous soul-tie that cost a man of God his anointing and his life. The biblical character is Samson and the soul-tie was with Delilah.
In Judges 16:15-21 it states: And she (Delilah) said unto him, How canst thou say, I love thee, when thine heart is not with me? thou hast mocked me these three times, and hast not told me wherein thy great strength lieth. And it came to pass, when she pressed him daily with her words, and urged him, so that his soul was vexed unto death; That he told her all his heart, and said unto her, There hath not come a razor upon mine head; for I have been a Nazarite unto God from my mothers womb: if I be shaven, then my strength will go from me, and I shall become weak, and be like any other man. And when Delilah saw that he had told her all his heart, she sent and called for the lords of the Philistines, saying, Come up this once, for he hath shewed me all his heart. Then the lords of the Philistines came up unto her, and brought money in their hand. And she made him sleep upon her knees; and she called for a man, and she caused him to shave off the seven locks of his head; and she began to afflict him, and his strength went from him. And she said, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And he awoke out of his sleep, and said, I will go out as at other times before, and shake myself. And he wist not that the Lord was departed from him.
But the Philistines took him, and put out his eyes, and brought him down to Gaza, and bound him with fetters of brass; and he did grind in the prison house.
The strongest man in the world was taken out by a sexual soul-tie. This woman caused Samson to forsake his family, God and his purpose. The bible says that she pressed him. Soul-ties are always a controlling relationship of some kind.
There Is An Ordained Soul Tie Called Marriage.
Marriage is Gods ordained tying of souls. A man and his wife are joined and become one in the eyes of God.
The bible says in Genesis 2:24-25
Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.
God intends for husbands to be tied to wives and vice versa. My wife and I are so connected we think the same thoughts.
When We Function In Intimate And Sexual Relations With People As Though We Are Husband And Wife The Same Connection Takes Place From A Platform Of Sin.
When God tied Adam and Eve together they had no shame. When we join ourselves, illegally, to people in sexual relationships, it produces shame, pain and often death.
There Is More To Sex Than A Physical Act. Sex Opens Your Soul To The Person Youre Involved With.
Take a look at what 1 Corinthians 6:15-16 says: Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.16. What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.
This passage is informing us that the sexual act actually ends in a union between the two parties. Theres no such thing as casual sex. All sexual activity carries heavy spiritual, emotional and physical repercussions.
When We Have Sex, Theres A Spiritual Bond Created And The Individual Now Lives In Your Soul (Mind).
The soul-tie is so powerful that even when you are separated from the person, they live with you in memories, scents, music and places. The thought of the person leads to physical sensations - obsessive thoughts and irrational behavior. It was irrational for Samson to jeopardize his anointing for a loose worldly woman, but he did it.
Many Cant Function Within Marriages Because They Have So Many Old Memories Of Former Lovers That They Get Lust Confused With Intimacy.
The strength of the soul tie is strongholds, which are demonic thought systems that perpetuate desires for and attractions to things that dont agree with God.
Listen to the Apostle Paul as he talks about strongholds; he says in 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong- holds; Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.
A stronghold is a fortress that is designed to keep what is in locked in and what would challenge it out. A mental/spiritual stronghold locks certain people, desires, habits and experiences into your mindset while preventing the power of God from entering that area. As a consequence, a person can love God and still be bound in certain areas of life, due to the strongholds.
