THE CIRCLE OF Fire
Readers Praise for
THE CIRCLE OF Fire
I felt myself being filled with gratitude and hope as I moved through the pages of the book. Yes, I cried, but I also laughed out loud. I felt a renewed spirit of strength and endurance to run my own race and fulfill my unique purpose.

Justina, this book is a masterpiece. You are as dynamic a writer as you are a speaker and person. Your passionate spirit witnesses so beautifully to your faith and shares it like sunshine. All can derive strength and direction from reading and reacting to this book. Flashbacks to the past, as related to the story, add dimension and transition. Thank you for sharing this book with me.
Gail Miller, artist and writer
I would definitely recommend this book, but my recommendation would not be limited just to burn survivors and caregivers. Although the challenges in the book may be dealing with the devastation of burn injury and trauma, the process of recovery is universal and the realizations shared in Justinas journey from victim to survivor can be applicable to anyone who picks up this book.
Dennis Gardin, Executive Director of the Georgia Firefighter Burn Foundation
The emotional connection I felt to this book centered on the authors explanation of what was happening to her inwardly. I was drawn in from a personal level and included on the path to healing and deliverance.
Lori Smith, Houston, TX
I strongly recommend this book because it is good to know that someone out there can relate to how you feel while going through tragedy or loss. It is somewhat comforting to know that you arent alone in how you feel. It is an eye-opener for caretakers, revealing how deeply the person in the tragedy could be affected.

Reading this book brought back feelingsfeelings I didnt even know I had. Everyone thought I was mad. I was trying to figure life out. What had I done wrong? Yes, this book put my feelings into words, very deep personal feelings that are hard to tell people.

TABLE OF CONTENTS
FOREWORD
Tragedy, hope, love, and sorrow are all part of the fabric of life, the exact design of which we, as individuals, often have no choice in. When there is a tragedy, we can only feel a sense of insufferable loss. Such is life.
Justina Page and her familys lives were changed forever on the morning of March 7, 1999, when her home was engulfed in flames. Her home was destroyed, and she and her husband lost their twenty-two-month-old twin son Amos. The other twin was severely injured; Justina Page survived but was left with third-degree burns over 50 percent of her body.
The Circle of Fire is a must-read for those who have faced trials and tribulations or have come to the crossroads of life wanting to give up. Life doesnt offer mankind the option of knowing what we may face in the future, but we should be encouraged to persevere. Regardless of how bad the situation gets, theres always hope.
Chief Rick Flanagan, Executive Assistant Fire Chief of the Houston Fire Department
ACKNOWLEDGMENT
I would like to acknowledge, first and foremost, my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in whom I live and move and have my being (Acts 17:28). Who, despite the unexpected turns that life tends to take, has given me the strength to endure lifes most ferocious storms and thrive with my dignity and integrity intact. My life has not been the same since I was adopted into the royal family. To my husband, friend, and soul mate, James R. Page Jr., thank you so much for your unconditional love, respect, and strength. You hold me close enough to keep me from danger while also giving me freedom to chase a dream. Your commitment to the boys and me has earned you the right to wear the purple heart of valor that should grace the neck of many unsung heroes. To my sons, Jonathon, Joseph, Caleb, Daniel, Amos, and Benjamin, God knew what he was doing when he filled my quiver with six baby boys. I love you all, and I am trusting that God will bring you all to the fulfillment of his will for your lives.
To the Full Gospel Church of Love In Christ, thank you for loving me in deed and in truth. I appreciate every dinner prepared, every therapy trip made, every visit, every prayer, and every tear shed. This book would not be possible without the example you set. To my many family members and friends who supported us financially, spiritually, and otherwise, thank you. I pray your reward is great.
To the staff on the John S. Dunn Sr. Burn Unit at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, Texas, keep up the good work. The care you provide is exemplary. To Dr. Donald Parks, my surgeon and friend, thanks for your exceptional medical skills and impeccable bedside manner. Your support of our mission is greatly appreciated. To Dr. Richard Wainerdi, the Texas Medical Center President, thanks for your continual support and keen ability to understand and move with a vision.
