T HE ENEMY COMES to kill, steal, and destroybut Jesus came to give us abundant life (John 10:10). Over the years Ive learned that the enemy comes in many different formsmany different manifestations. From the spirit of fear to the spirit of infirmity to the spirit of death, the devil is crafty and diligent in pursuing his antichrist agenda.

When I wrestled the spirit of death in the United Kingdom, I gained an even deeper understanding of how the kingdom of darkness works. Ill always remember a meeting when a thirty-nine-year-old man, who was sitting on the fourth row and had previously had a stroke, died while I was starting to preach a message on the identity thief. The church was stunned.

What I saw was a strong demonic presence over him. His head was contorting and looked to me like it would almost twist off; his jaw, face, and hands were also contorting. They were drawn up toward his chest in clawlike form. It seemed every muscle was at an extreme strain in his body. He was stiff as a board and his eyes were huge and bugged.

I rushed over to him and put my hands on his chest and forehead. I began to bind the demonic power and command his body to be loosed in Jesuss name. The man started to turn blue and struggled to breathe, but he wasnt sweaty. As I was praying he started to turn purple. However, he still had a strong, regular pulse at the beginning, and I had my hand on his heart so I could feel it beating very hard. Soon I noticed his breathing started to become even more labored. I continued to forbid Satan from attacking him.
