I n every generation, there arises distinct prophetic voices that redirect the hearts and minds of the Christian community back to God. It is my opinion that Jennifer LeClaire is one of those voices. Introduction

W hen I accepted Christ into my life, I didnt realize I was stepping into an epic spiritual war. No one told me saying yes to Jesus was akin to enrolling as a soldier in the army of God. I didnt have the first clue about spiritual armor; weapons of warfare; keys to the Kingdom for binding and loosing; spirits of Jezebel, witchcraft, python; or anything else.

Simply put, I was ignorant of the devils devices.

Needless to say, it didnt take me long to start looking into scriptures such as First Peter 5:8, Second Corinthians 10:45, and Ephesians 6:12. Jesus told us the enemy comes to kill, steal, and destroy, but He came to give us a life of abundant overflow (see John 10:10). He left us His peace, His joy, and His provisionHis Word, His Spirit, His blood, and His name. But despite who we are in Christor perhaps because of who we are in Christthe war against our body and soul rages.

Many years ago when I found myself on a new level of warfarea level at which I had not operatedthe Holy Spirit said something to me that seemed rather obvious.

You are in a war, He said.

Yes, I replied. I know that. And I feel like I am losing.

Yes, I knew I was in a war but sometimes were too quick to dismiss enemy interference as happenstance. In our dialogue the Holy Spirit was reminding me that the war in the unseen realm is raging. There are spiritual bombs that devastate lives, spiritual spies and saboteurs, air strikes and ground strikes, and the like. The war will not end until Christ comes back for the grand finale, but we can walk in victory despite unseen forces aiming to wreak havoc on our lives.
