T HIS book is dedicated to Smith Wigglesworth, Maria Wood-worth-Etter, John G. Lake, Amy Semple McPherson, William Branham, Paul the apostle, and the many other men and women of God who have stirred and inspired so many of us to earnestly desire and zealously cultivate the realms of power available in Jesus Christ.

And most of all, it is dedicated to the Holy Spirit who makes it possible for every believer to move in power each and every day.

Foreword

I HAVE always passionately desired the supernatural manifestation of God. Some of this hunger can be traced to my coming into the Kingdom of God during the Charismatic Renewal and the Jesus Movement days. These were times when the gifts of the Holy Spirit were being rediscovered and operated. The church had become very traditional and religious in its function with no real demonstration of power. It was the epitome of what Paul told Timothy in Second Timothy 3:5 (NKJV): having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!

When these movements occurred, we became aware of the power of the Holy Spirit again. This power was to manifest the love and kindness of who Jesus desired to be in our midst. As a 12-year-old boy, I was caught up in this wonder. It has been true for the duration of my life. This is why this book by Robert Hotchkin is of such importance. Learning to walk in Realms of Power should be necessary reading for any who desire these dimensions.

It is my persuasion that longing for, pursuing, and operating in the power of the Lord should be a nonnegotiable attribute of any believer. We can see from Scripture that experiences in the power of the Lord is to establish our faith. First Corinthians 2:4-5 (NKJV) shows that the apostle Paul understood the necessity of this power in the believers life:

And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.

Paul purposed not to amaze them with his oratory skills. He instead desired their faith to be in the demonstration of the Spirit and His power. This is the heart of God to this day. The lack of power being seen is a reason for weakness of faith among Gods people today. If the power of God can become accessible and known, then we again will see a people who are unstoppable in their convictions.

In my book Father, Friend, and Judge, I make the case that there are many dimensions of the Spirit available to us. This I believe is what Jesus was primarily stating in John 14:1-3 (NKJV):

Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Fathers house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.
