In the very early stages of Renewal at Bethel Church, Pastor Bill Johnson hired me as the childrens pastor. As excited as I was to be a full-time minister to children, I, along with everyone else, was entering uncharted territory. I was being asked to lead a young generation in the realm of revivalwithout any blueprints, or framework to follow. One thing was for surelife as we knew it was about to change.

After several weeks of earnestly seeking and praying for direction, I heard Gods voice. He said, I want to raise a prophetic generation. Wonderful! God spoke to me! But I had absolutely no clue what it meant!

Each week, church services at Bethel became encounters with Gods manifest presence. Miracles, deliverances, and healings were witnessed along with laughter, drunkenness in the spirit, and other dignity-defying experiences of joy. These experiences were the result of Heaven depositing an amazing grace gift: an outpouring of the Fathers love. Accompanying this Open Heaven phenomenon, were the incredible revelations of the Kingdom that pastor Bill Johnson would impart.

I now had a plan. And it was simple (it usually is when God is involved). I would begin to gather the deposits of heavenly activity and revelation and give it to our children. I felt the children deserved the same fresh manna that their parents were enjoying. As our young people began to encounter Gods presence, the transformation was amazing. They learned to recognize and become intimate with the Fathers love. They heard His voice, and discovered who they were.

As His children, they became confident. Our children began to prophesy, and lay hands on the sick as their hunger for Papa God increased. Each week we would hear testimonies of what God was doing through our children in their homes, schools, stores, and playgrounds. I am convinced that there are no truths or values of the Kingdom of God that cannot be received and carried by children. They were created for revival!

Wanting to give away what we were receiving, my wife, Marilyn, and I began to create teaching resources that captured Kingdom truths and principles. They were short, colorful, and easy to use. Over the past few years we have seen God use these materials in many nations, cultures, and generations. (Adults like them as well.)

It was an extreme honor when Pastor Bill Johnson invited me to co-author this work, to adapt his first book, When Heaven Invades Earth, for children. Bills book has been aptly described as an invitation to walk and live in the miraculous power of God.

Throughout the pages the very heart and love of the Father is revealed, exposing the identity of those who call Him Lord. As His Royal Children, we are His heirs who receive an inheritance. This inheritance gives permission, equips, and releases us to pursue our destiny which causes Heaven to invade earth.

These truths have plucked the heart strings of Christians worldwide. There is a sincere desire and hunger for moreto live and demonstrate a true gospel of power. As Bill and his ministry team traveled, they heard frequent requests for such a childrens book. It was a welcomed cry.

If we as fathers and mothers truly value this present outpouring of the Fathers love and power, then we will not only want to preserve, but advance this move of God. Gathering our inheritance which we enjoy and imparting it to our children is key to seeing global revival spread and increase. This truth terrifies the enemy and is the reason why he has done so much to devalue children.

Here Comes Heaven is a gathering of revelation. It exposes the Fathers love, reveals childrens identity, and describes their inheritance. It is also a vision and value statement of Papa God as He looks upon His little ones. Within this context, children are invited on a journey to fulfill their destiny. During the journey, because of Whose they are, children will demonstrate the Kingdom of God and bring Heaven to earth!

But Jesus said, Let the children alone and do not hinder them from coming to Me, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these (Matthew 19:14).

Bungoma children for Jesus, Bungoma children for Jesus was heard all over the city of Bungoma, in the country of Kenya in Africa. The streets were filled with over 2,000 children singing, dancing, marching, and carrying signs proclaiming, Bungoma belongs to Jesus!

Something huge was happening. Heaven opened up, and wherever Gods presence touched the town, miracles happened. The hospitals, prisons, businesses, and churches were all changing. The most amazing thing was the fact that God was using His children to bring Heaven to earth!

How did this happen? Just one year before this day of celebration, things in Bungoma were very different. Many of the pastors did not think that God could use children in a powerful way. They even thought children should wait until they grew up to get saved!
