About the Author

Back Cover

Foreword

In the midst of an ever-changing world, one thing is certain: God does not change. He remains the sameyesterday, today and forever. That is comforting! We never have to question or second-guess Gods nature. With every passing generation, He remains faithful and constant.

The Bible clearly reveals that God is a healer. The Lord Himself declared, I am the L ORD who heals you (Exodus 15:26). So we see clearly that healing is a gift from God. Jesus, the exact representation of God, came to reveal the Father. If people had questions regarding Gods nature, Jesus would provide the answers. While He was on earth, He healed the sick, performed signs and wonders, and destroyed the works of the devil. By His words and actions, Jesus displayed how God is both a healer and a miracle worker. Settle this truth in your heart: God healsboth now and forever!

When it comes to answering the question of why people are not healed, my dear friend Glen has written an incredible book that thoroughly unpacks the subject of healing. He delves into all aspects of healingspiritual, emotional and physical. He also explains many reasons healing can be hindered and provides solutions to overcome them.

My friendship with Glen has spanned several decades, and over the years, I have witnessed how he has overcome several sicknesses and infirmities, including heart disease. Glen is a man of faith who refuses to settle for anything less than Gods best. He writes from a position of authority, combining personal experience with Gods Word. Even as I write this foreword, Glen is contending for healing after recently suffering a major heart attack. Thankfully reports are showing that he is recovering ahead of schedule.

While I believe healing and miracles are available to us today, a day is coming when we will no longer need to be healedfor Jesus will return and complete our salvation. On that glorious day, our bodies will be changed, and we will never again experience sickness, disease or death. Paul wrote,

But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior. He will take our weak mortal bodies and change them into glorious bodies like his own, using the same power with which he will bring everything under his control.

Philippians 3:2021

The return of our King is approaching. Until then, keep contending for heaven to invade earth! God is good and paid a great price for you to be healed. And since God did not withhold sacrificing His Son for us, He certainly will not withhold from us everything else He has to give. That includes your healing!

John Bevere, bestselling author and minister;
co-founder, Messenger International

Introduction

Healing is a topic that has confused many because so much has been said and written on this subject over the years. People have questions, and rightfully so.

  • Is God still in the healing business today?
  • Am I worth being healed?
  • I prayed many times, and God did not heal me. Why?
  • How do you get a miracle?

I hope that this book will bring clarity to you and provide the answers you have been searching for. This is an important topic that we cannot overlook as Christians just because it is hard or controversial. There are too many sick people walking around today. Can we help them? Though modern medicine has come a long way, there are still several illnesses without a cure.
