Understanding absolute love is the work of the soul.
The integration of this higher frequency of love
into our everyday life is the work of human evolvement.
The bridge between the two is intuition,
our most powerful and natural wisdom.
I remember as a child sitting under the big oak trees in my backyard, wiping off my dirty hand and placing it in the steady palm of my best friend. She traced the crooked lines in my palm with the tip of her finger and looked at the little lines that extended from them. She confidently told me that I would marry young and have two children. I knew that she had an aunt who had taught her the basics of palm reading, so I believed her. A jolt of pleasure ran up my spine at the idea of what my future would hold.
Years later, as a young and enthusiastic psychic, after spending a lot of time working with the mysterious beauty of the spiritual world, I found myself answering similar questions for others: Will I meet my soul mate? How can I improve my relationship with my partner? Why do I attract unsatisfying relationships? Does he love me? Is she the right one for me? How can I forgive my ex for all of the lies and betrayal? Will I ever be able to love and trust another person again?
The desire to love and be loved is a consuming inner flame, burning away all other desires and preoccupations. As a psychic reader and intuitive coach, I have responded to these concerns and similar ones for the past twenty-five years. Perhaps more than most other questions that life holds, Ive found that people search, with devotion and enthusiasm, the unseen, spiritual realm for guidance in their relationships. My clients include financiers, physicians, scientific researchers, and engineers, as well as writers, artists, and students from all over the world. They are intelligent thinkers and managers of their busy, effective lives, yet they seek, from the unseen and the ethereal, help with their loving relationships.
The Search for Answers
From my palm-reading eight-year-old friend to the business man nervously sitting in my office seeking advice about his love life, my desire to learn more about the way we intuit and the way we love is still strong. When I first began giving professional psychic readings, I did not always know where the answers that I received came from. It was all a mystery to me, too. I would see certain people in my minds eye and describe them to my clients. I would hear particular months and days with my inner hearing, and I would receive strong feelings about anothers personality traits and their relationship potential.
I did not know how I came to know these things. I just told people whatever information I received. Later, my clients would call or come into my office and tell me that I was right. The person that I described came into their life at the time I said they would, and people would leave relationships when I predicted they would. I became a very busy psychic. But still, I did not understand how I knewand I wanted to find out.
Learning about Intuition
In my quest to understand my own psychic-intuitive ability, I have learned that intuition is a natural ability that we all share. Psychic is just another word for intuition . Both words refer to the natural ability we all have to perceive unseen, unknown, subtle frequencies and put words and meaning to these vibrations. For simplicity throughout the book, I use the word intuitive rather than psychic , but for all intents and purposes, they are essentially the same thing.
