This book was born out of the fiery crucible of life. My life, my wifes life, our extended familys lives and that of hundreds of others with whom we have journeyed together over the years. The doubts, struggles, fears and tears that come to all of us tilled the soil from which this book of brutal honesty and outrageous hope grew. Some days the words flew onto the page. Other days, I had to walk away from the keyboard when the computer screen became blurred from the tears that came with many memories; happy tears and sad tears, but tears nonetheless. Thats why God gave us two eye-ducts, right?

When friends and even strangers found out I was writing a book they would ask me what the title was. I would always say, Crazy Life. With few exceptions they would say something like, Wow, I cant wait to get a copy because that describes my life right nowcrazy!

So many people enthusiastically encouraged me to write this Christian view of disruption. At the risk of missing the many who were instrumental in getting this book released to the world, I am going to name a few of the men and women to whom I am indebted and in some way express my gratitude for their influence in my life.
