The above two lines are enough to prove the importance of the hand. It is not only a palm but an abode of all gods, religiously and spiritually speaking. It is a treasure of vitality and working power of a human being from the materialistic point and is the source of all the activities of life from the astrological point of view. Our life is speedy, active and forever changing every moment and our palm is the complete picture of all the changes of life; of struggles and stresses and counter struggles of life. Through our palm we know our past and believe it, also understand the present and try to mould ourselves by acquainting with the future, so that we may remain constantly active. A strong storm is blowing and we have to go ahead even in this storm, but if the storm is coming from the front, we will have to face difficulty at every step. On the contrary, if the storm is coming from behind, it will help us, our legs will move with ease and we will be facilitated to reach our destination by moving ahead.

The slightest happening of our entire life is imprinted on our palms. The thinnest line on the palm has its own significance and not a single line is useless. What one needs is an able palmist who can read these lines, understand the importance of the tiniest line and be able to make it clear.

In fact, prophesying (future telling) is the highest attainment of our age because there is so much strife and struggle in the present time as it never was. Palmistry has also made so much progress in this age as it never did in the past. Scientific experiments and tests in advanced countries like America, France, Japan, etc. have been carried out in palmistry and this subject (science of palmistry) is being given priority in their universities. In the fields of medical science and future-telling, it has become indispensable.

Today, the eyes of the whole world are fixed on India for this science and it is the duty of our country to come forward to lead and direct them in this sphere and let the world know the new sutras (formulae).

The need for this has been felt for quite sometime that an authoritative book be written on palmistry which may contain all the aspects of palmistry with illustrations and complete information be conveyed in simple language. I am confident that this book will be able to help in achieving this objective.

I have given the gist of Indian and Western views on palmistry in this book. At the same time, I have made it clear what are the fundamental differences and why are these differences? Which one is correct and with the help of which sutras , correct future telling can be done?

These truths have been incorporated in this book for the first time and at the same time, description about lines on the palm, fingers and their joints and other signs on the human body have all been collected exhaustively. Behind all this, there is my study, more than the study is the presentation of the subject matter and even much more than the presentation of the subject-matter are long years of experience in this line. There is no mention of the astronomical yogas (combinations) not only in India but also in the world's other books on palmistry because the subject is very tough and not easily accessible. In this book, for the first time more than 240 palmistry combinations (yogas) have been thoroughly explained and this is the special feature of this book.

In addition, I have explained in detail the signs of different organs of the body and the hand. At the same time to impart practical experience, I have read the past and the future with the help of an imprint of the palm. This has given authenticity to the book.

An Indian Astrological Study and Research Centre' has been established at the High Court Colony, Jodhpur, so that research on palmistry could be done in India and other countries as well. The importance and recognition which the centre has received, within a short time, is a positive proof of its efforts and impartiality. Hundreds and thousands of persons from our country and from foreign countries send their handprints to obtain the future reading through this centre, and give due honour and respect, being impressed by the correctnessof every reading. This is no credit to me but it is the genuineness of Indian palmistry and it clearly proves that Indian astrology and palmistry is unfailing, correct and absolutely authentic.

I am confident that my readers and experts of astrology will consider my efforts worthwhile and I fully trust that they will certainly be benefitted by this book.
