When I first met Andy it was like jumping into wet concretethe longer I stayed with him, the harder it was to leave. When I do manage to finally escape there will be permanent footprints left behind.
TABLE OF CONTENTS INTRODUCTION
The title of this book is a clear indication of its content; a guide for those who wish to disappear off the face of the earth and never be found. It sounds simple, but as the world and society mature, it becomes increasingly difficult. Disappearing and starting a new life is achievable, but it takes meticulous planning, nerves of steel, and a promise that you will never look back.
There are several aspects that will affect your ability to disappear. For example, your loved onescan you accept leaving them behind and never seeing them again? If you are famous, your face will give you away, and if you are rich and continue to live in luxury after your disappearance, you will easily be found.
These are just a few of the factors that will govern your disappearance. In the end, your success comes down to you and your individual strength to hold your plan together, stick to the rules, and stay below the radar.
You will need to know what your new life is going to be and where it will be located. Dont always think that the grass is greener on the other side, because more often than not, it will disappoint you and youll find yourself worse off than before. You will need to make a plan that is foolproof, prepare a year or more in advance, and lay down clear and sustainable disinformation. Put your safeguards and new life support program in place, test them, build your cover story, and become a different person the moment you leave your old life behind .

The essence of man is to survive and live in a condition that is relaxed and tolerable. When these are not present, we look to adjust our lives so that life is, at worst, sufferable. Nevertheless, for some of us there comes a time when we cannot modify our lives, and the only option open to us is to change them and start anew. The will to live another life is not in all of us, but burns brightly in a handful of people. When man is against the odds and struggles to overcome adverse circumstances, dramatic change is often the only way out: in effect, to disappear. In order to be successful, you must act alone, seeking no help or advice from others. Until you are ready, you must continue to suffer the humiliations, trials, and tribulations that forced you into action in the first place. You must plan, gauge your resources and any elements you have at your disposal, make a plan, and rely solely on your own worth until the day you disappear. With the right planning and cover story, matched by good security and adequate funding, you can disappear and never be found again.

In writing this book, I have taken into account two reasons for you reading this book:
1. That you intend to plan in detail your disappearance.
2. That you simply walk out on life and become a hobo.
The first reason takes up the majority of the book and highlights a disappearance plan and all that it entails. Living like a hobo is more of a survival adventure, but I hasten to add that this is not a survival book, and I have limited this information to the bare bones. That said, I am a military man by nature and hence my thinking and logic is military. Thus, much of this book is based on my lifes knowledge and experience. In as much as I have traveled this planet from corner to corner and continue to do sowe live in a world where hiding from society is not a matter of luck, but of detailed planning.
Should you ever use this book and really try to disappear, then I wish you luck. But as the old Japanese proverb says, to wait for luck is the same as waiting for death.

WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO DISAPPEAR?
The first question I would have to ask is why anyone would want to disappear? Well thats just me: I like my life and I am happy, but there are many people in this world who would rather die than carry on the way theyre living. So there are countless reasons why someone disappears; it might be planned, accidental, or involuntary. In most cases when a person disappears, there are extenuating circumstances that indicate what kind of disappearance it is. The list of explanations is long, and below are just a few reasons why people would want to disappear:
Many young children disappear because they wish to escape from child abuse, either emotional or physical (they usually end up being abused further).
Teenagers may disappear because they fall in love with someone their family disapproves of, running away to live with their partner.
Othersfor a number of reasonsmay wish to disappear and quietly commit suicide rather than carry on living.
Many adventurers have disappeared, mainly due to accidents in the wild or at sea.
Others plan to rid themselves of an unruly spouse or for financial gain, such as insurance fraud.
Many individual travelers are robbed, raped, murdered, and their bodies disposed of.
There is a huge market in human trafficking; people are sold into slavery or a life of prostitution. Most end up dead from a drug overdose or lying in a ditch with their head removed for disobedience.
Some people disappear simply because the government wishes itthis might be a political rival or drugs baron with vast control over a specific region.
Abuse is a common occurrence with either husband or wife being to blame. Often, this creates the desire to walk out of the relationship.
