FOREWORD

When Shekhar Kallianpur asked me to write the foreword for his new book, You Are Born Natural to Walk Supernaturally, I was honoured and felt privileged. As President of Harvest International Ministry (HIM), I first met Shekhar when he became a member of HIM five years ago. HIM is an apostolic network of over 20,000 churches, ministries, mission organisations, and marketplace ministers committed to loving and helping each other fulfil the Great Commission.

During the past five years, I have witnessed the fruit of Shekhars deep, intimate relationship with Jesus, his love for his family, and his love for India and the nations. He lives his life daily in passionate pursuit of the things that please the Fathers heart, and his hearts desire is to live for God the way God designed man to live, naturally supernatural. His mission is to see the whole world come to know Jesus as Lord and Saviour. Pastor Shekhar has a motto, To empty hell and fill heaven, and he always remains steady on that course.

Many Christians have a deep desire to walk in the supernatural, but harbour a belief system that plagues their minds with statements like: I am not anointed enough I am not special God didnt pick me Its not in my family bloodline, and so on. But as Pastor Shekhar points out, Scripture challenges us to follow in the footsteps of Jesus and to live a naturally supernatural life, even as He did.

In Matthew 28:18-19, Jesus speaks of all authority being given to Him and He then releases us to go and make disciples of all nations. Isaiah 61 speaks of the anointing to go and preach the good news, to set the captives free, and to comfort those who mourn. Mark 16:17-18 says these signs will follow those who believe. In Jesus name we are to cast out demons, speak in new tongues and lay hands on the sick and they will be healed. John 14:12 declares that whoever believes in Jesus will do the works He did and even greater works. And Acts 10:34 clearly states that God is not a respecter of persons and shows no favouritism.

In the pages of this book, you will encounter the tangible, manifest power of God displayed in the life of Pastor Shekhar. You will read amazing testimonies, facts, and stories showing how God manifests Himself as a loving, merciful, faithful, compassionate and healing Father. You will see that regardless of your familys religious beliefs or social status, what God promises in Jeremiah 29:11 is true. He says, For I know the plans I have for you. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Pastor Shekhar clearly illustrates the beauty and simplicity of having an intimate relationship with Jesus. He removes all the questions and roadblocks that would keep you from walking in the fullness of who you are in Christ. You will understand and know that you are called to be a carrier of His glory and to move in spiritual authority. He lays out how critical it is to partner with the Holy Spirit and gives you keys that will trigger your hunger for Gods presence.

As he is quick to point out, Pastor Shekhar is no different from you or me. He grew up in a family that did not worship the one true living God. He was poor, rejected by his peers, and faced many challenges in life. One thing that did set him apart was a hunger for truth and freedom. He continually searched for a power that would set him free from sin and guilt.

Then one day he was given a Bible through which he encountered the Creator of the universe and gave his life to Jesus Christ. Pastor Shekhar discovered that all things are possible with God (Matthew 19:26). He began a wonderful journey that has taken him to where he is today - a lover of Jesus whose ministry is powerfully accompanied with miracles, signs, and wonders.

I wholeheartedly encourage you to open your heart and mind, as you read these pages filled with life-giving truths. They will take you to where youve dreamed about being, but until now have thought, God will never use me like that. A new reality will be yours for the taking, and you will know You Are Born Natural to Walk Supernaturally. You, too, will partner with the Holy Spirit to fulfil the Great Commission, or as Pastor Shekhar eloquently puts it, to empty hell and fill heaven!
