The complete book of numerology: summary, description and annotation

We offer to read an annotation, description, summary or preface (depends on what the author of the book "The complete book of numerology" wrote himself). If you haven't found the necessary information about the book — write in the comments, we will try to find it.

Numerology is arguably the oldest of the divination arts and often the least understood. In the Complete Book of Numerology, Joyce Keller and her collaborator and husband Jack Keller provide a simple, intelligent, and useful guide which outlines the history, the various systems (Pythagorean, Chaldean, and Chinese), as well as the uses and applications of numerology. From numerology as applied to names and what it can tell you, the concept and reality of lucky and unlucky numbers, and the practical applications of numerology (for success, evaluating relationships, and to anticipate the larger cycles of life), the Complete Book of Numerology provides readers with a solid understanding, allowing them to utilize and incorporate into their life this, the science of the ancients.

The universe, the world and our lives are interwoven with numbers and with numerical values. Sports scores, the stock market indexes, and sales prices are just a few of the numbers with which we are involved every day. Our childrens test scores and the distance to grandmas house in miles or travel time (and the gas mileage we will get) are some others. Our modern technical/industrial/commercial way of life depends on numbers, values and calculations from the simplest addition to the most advanced mathematical processes imaginable.

Aside from the numerical values of the ten integers we use to represent all quantities, there is an inherent characteristic or vibration to each of them that operates at a more subtle and mystical level than our everyday, mundane usage. From ancient civilizations until the present many people have utilized numbers for greater understanding and accomplishment.

Is there any validity to any of this? Is it all just a lot of nonsense? Was it thought up and used by frustrated math students who couldnt get past basic algebra? Is it simplistic pap? Or is it just possible that there is some genuine validity to it? If so, do you have to be psychic or intuitive to be able to use it correctly? Do you have to spend years learning how to master numerology? Will people think youre weird and strange, or just eccentric and superstitious?

This book, The Complete Book of Numerology, answers these questions, and more. It clears up a lot of the misconceptions surrounding this art. It demonstrates the easiest, most straightforward techniques for understanding and using numerology.

I feel that I am well qualified to write this book, having given numerology a true test of its merit. Numerology has proven to be a reliable and accurate way for me to help people to understand their own life situations and destinies. I have used it to great advantage while doing on-air readings on many TV and radio shows, such as The Soupy Sales Show on NBC, or with Regis Philbin, or while on my own radio or TV shows.

Numbers are fascinating. In this book, we hope to share with you the concept that numbers are behind some of lifes most intriguing mysteries. Not only are numbers intriguing, but they can also be funthough this usually only happens after you reconcile yourself to the fact that even though numbers may be a challenge, they can also be your friends.

I also discovered that numbers can be very sexy! I know what Im talking about. In one of my first jobs, as an engineering assistant, I had crushes on almost all of the hundred and fifty engineers with whom I worked. What a group of lovable nerds! These mathematical geniuses could barely dress themselves. They wore jackets that didnt match their stained clip-on ties; polyester slacks that were too short; white socks with shoes that were muddy and had run-down heels. During a pressing project, many of them forgot to shave, shower, or cut their hair. Their white shirts almost always needed pressing, and they never left home without their pocket protectors, and eye glasses with tape. I swear that I am telling the truth! The bizarre thing about this scenario is that I was able to see past their physical appearances, and go directly to the marvel of their technical minds.

These engineers knew everything not only about numbers but, of course, about the universe! I could ask them anything they would stop whatever they were doing, and stare into space until they had an answer for me. I didnt always understand the response, which usually involved some kind of calculation, but I did love hearing it!

Of course I eventually married the most lovable, most handsome and modest, cleanest, neatest engineer of them all (even though he did wear a clip-on tie), Jack Keller. Throughout our marriage, Jack has been gracious enough to help me through many challenges, many of which were math-related. Of course he also jumped at the opportunity to coauthor this book. Needless to say, the most technical parts were written by him.

We hope that this book will help you to share and appreciate our love for numbers. If there is anything that is too complicated or hard to understand, I didnt write it. Jack did.

NUMBERS EXPRESS THE HARMONY OF THE UNIVERSE

The entire planet hums with whats known as the Schumann Resonance. It is calculated to have a mean value of 7.83 Hz. According to ancient mystics, seers and astronomers, this resonance was referred to as the grand music of the spheres.

When astronauts ride the space shuttle out of the Earths gravitational pull, a simulated vibration is given off within the spacecraft to replicate this resonance. This is done to ensure the health and well-being of the craft and its crew.

Do you know that dolphin and whale songs are also measured at 7.83 Hz? This is the vibration of homeostasis, which is human physical wellness or calmness. Perhaps dolphins seem to be smiling and expressing unending joy because they hum along at the rate of universal harmony, 7.83 Hz.

Many people use the music of dolphins and whales for healing and regeneration. This is based on the power of numbers7.83 Hz.

THE POWER OF NUMBERS

Pythagoras, often called The Father of Mathematics, was correct when he said, The world is built upon the power of numbers. Born around 580 B.C. on the island of Samos, he believed that the universe is fundamentally mathematical in nature. He taught that if we understand our incredible interaction with numbers, life can work amazingly well for us.
