W hen we started a blog on synchronicity or meaningful coincidence in February 2009, we had no idea it would result in a book much less four books on the topic. But once youre on the synchronicity highway, youre traveling through a realm that often seems as magical and strange as Alices Wonderland. You feel connected to something larger than yourself and your immediate world. Your perceptions change, you see and experience yourself and life differently. You become immersed in a mystery that often defies reason and logic. Your worldview can be turned inside out like a dirty sock.
Numerous exit ramps exist on this highway and each one of them holds a deeper mystery, a different kind of logic, a kind of quantum weirdness. Explore any of them and no telling what you might uncover astounding odds, tricksters, messengers from the unknown, the unseen, and the seemingly miraculous. And always, youre peeling away the intricate layers of this phenomenon, decoding and deciphering it. Sometimes, the significance of a particular synchronicity may be as elusive as a ghost; other times its glaringly obvious, so in your face you cant dismiss it as random.
On the synchronicity highway, your guidance system lies in your awareness, curiosity, feelings, intentions, and beliefs. It lies within. Once you trust that inner guidance, synchronicities seem to pop up everywhere. They are signposts, friends, allies that guide and direct you, warn you, clarify and confirm your decisions, laugh at you and with you.
