Susan J. Bartlett, Ph.D.,is a postdoctoral fellow at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, and a clinical psychologist at the Johns Hopkins Weight Management Center in Baltimore, Md. Dr. Bartlett authored two chapters of the ACE Lifestyle & Weight Management Consultant Manual.
Jennifer S. Bolger, M.S.,received her masters in exercise physiology from San Diego State University. She is the Fitness Program Director at the Mission Valley YMCA in San Diego, Calif. It is there that she developed the 12-week Personalized Fitness Program, which is designed to help underactive adults make a behavior change to include regular physical activity into their lives.
John L. Boyer, M.D.,is a past president of the American College of Sports Medicine and an Emeritus Professor in the College of Professional Studies at San Diego State University. He has a 35-year background in medicine and cardiology with emphasis on risk-factor modification in the prevention and rehabilitation of cardiovascular disorders.
