To properly make the A Barre Chord, simply Barre your first finger across the 5 th fret. Next, place your second finger on the G string on the 6 th fret and then your third finger on the A string on the 7 th fret. Finally, place your fourth finger on the D string on the 7 th fret.

When making the A Barre Chord, youll generally play all of the strings except for the high e string.
