I dedicate this book to my mother, Joyce Wanta, RN, RRT, who was one of the first respiratory therapists in Utah and who developed the first respiratory therapy education program in Utah. She has been the best friend and mentor a daughter could have. I share Christinas dedication to the students and practitioners of our profession. Picture 4

I dedicate this book to my husband Tim and my two children, Sabrina and Sam, who are always there to give me infinite love and support. I also dedicate this book to the students and respiratory care professionals who share a passion for learning, challenge me, educate me, and are dedicated to providing excellent care to all their patients.
