T he 5 AM Club: Own Your Morning, Elevate Your Life has a worldwide following as a life-changing book. Written by Robin Sharma, who based the book on his methods he has been teaching to celebrated entrepreneurs, CEOs of famous companies, sports superstars, music icons and members of royaltywith extraordinary successfor over twenty years. The key message of The 5 AM Club is that the first part of your day is the most important. The early morning hours of solitude and serenity, when everyone else is sleeping, make leaders. With almost zero distractions, this is the perfect time to expand your creativity and productivity. Robin Sharma had used a story of a devastated entrepreneur, a struggling artist, and a generous billionaire to convey his message. The three of them meet at a self-improvement conference, from where the billionaire takes the other two on a journey of a lifetime. He teaches them different lessons on being a leader and having a meaningful life. You can follow them at each step, apply each experience to your own life, and become a member of the 5 AM club. Anyone can become a leader if he works for it. We all have heroes inside us. We only need to discover our primal powers, and we can create magic in our lives. From 5:006:00 AM is what Robin calls The Victory Hour. Dividing this hour into three intervals of 20 minutes, each according to the 20/20/20 formula, will give you time for exercise, self-renewal and personal growth. There are many other formulas and learning models which will help the 5 AM club members in utilizing their entire day. Once you follow these models, youll be fascinated to find out how a straightforward habit of waking up as early as 5 AM has the power of changing your entire life.

    1. The Dangerous Deed
    Picture 17

A young entrepreneur was considering different ways of dying. The technology business she founded in her dorm room in college had now reached ever-increasing levels of market dominance. However, she was about to lose it all. She was being forced to give up her ownership. She felt betrayed and heart-broken. She was thinking of swallowing sleeping pills when she saw something on her dresser. It was the ticket to a personal development conference that her mother had given her. She never went to such gatherings. However, she needed help. So she decided to go.

    2. A Daily Philosophy on Becoming Legendary
    Picture 21

T he speaker at the conference was an old and kind man. He was a spellbinder. He started his speech by saying that life is too short to play small with your talents. People invest in better shoes but not in their better selves. All great people were givers and not takers. So it is a false hope that you can win by gathering things. A tear rolled down from the speakers face as he continued speaking. He said that many good people limit themselves to average jobs and that everyone in the room was a powerful human being. He assured the audience that he understands them and that he knows that they have all been through difficult times. Some so many people are living a successful life right now. However, they also had bad days. People betrayed their trust and broke their hearts. However, all of that had to happen because they needed to learn their lessons. A man shouted that it is easy to say but hard to do. The spellbinder agreed with him and said that ideas are nothing if they are not applied. It is not easy to develop a legendary life. It is not for everyone. He gave examples of Rosa Parks who stood for rights of black people, Charles Darvin who worked on his theory of evolution for eight years, Stephen King who even threw away the draft of his first novel because he was discouraged and of many others. He was trying to explain that the point where your most excellent comfort lies is also the point where a great opportunity lives. Suddenly, he started to cough and fell to the ground.
