Insurrection, right now!: summary, description and annotation

We offer to read an annotation, description, summary or preface (depends on what the author of the book "Insurrection, right now!" wrote himself). If you haven't found the necessary information about the book — write in the comments, we will try to find it.

Saturn demanded justice because of the behavior of Uranus, his father. However, once he took power, he aggravated the atrocities of his predecessor. Hence Nietzsches warning: Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you.
On the one hand, civil society is fed up with the status quo imposed by the establishment. On the other hand, as a result of historical experience, we distrust the Pied Piper of Hamelin.
Who wants to get out of the cave with reliable, dystopian-free and empowered alternatives?
Beyond opinions (doxa) and cognitive biases, the proposed solution achieves this triple requirement through corroborated foundation, epistemological justification and social legitimation.
Take a look inside!

Design of titles in the chapters :

The ideal writing of this essay tries to unite emotional intelligence with executive intelligence. So, the rational first part is highlighted in indigo color and an emotional second part is in purple.

Clarification: zero calories?

What relationships do we have with knowledge? In modern societies we want to try all kinds of sweets and try to compensate by taking light or zero calorie foods.

In the field of culture, the same thing happens. We want to keep up to date with cultural events to name three or four series or films that make us look good to colleagues.

Likewise, in the political sphere we are witnessing a simulation of continuous news, but superficial proposals, populists and short-terms, without calories, no diagnosis, no reflection, no rethinks, no solvent alternatives.

For example, Time to outraged ! of Stphane Hessel was a pamphlet, a parody that manipulated the emotions of the masses: symptoms without diagnosis or rational solutions. More specifically, the Arab Spring, the Yellow Vests Protest, Occupy Wall Street, and 15-M activists who eventually became politicians recalled Il Gattopardo s motto: Everything has to change, if we want everything to stay as it is. As a result, we have a skeptical civil society.

Even worse, inciting an insurrection is reckless as the Pied Piper of Hamelin did, unless civil society has a legitimate constituent process equipped with a system of checks and balances that prevents the lust for power. Let us remember the metaphor of Saturn devouring his children: Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you, Nietzsche warned.

Quite the contrary, this series of essays does not seek to cheat the public through tricks. However, those who easily lose their patience abstain, since all catharsis requires ones own and persevering effort: the series of videos that precedes this essay is only an aperitif, a vermouth to whet the appetite of those who are thirsty to find a political-economic alternative. Now if you want to go beyond zero calories, you have this tetralogy. Here you will find the necessary arguments to get out of the reigning bog.

Part I : symptoms of current political-economic models

Argumentative ellipsis are often accompanied by cognitive biases. To avoid them, we will use a sequential scheme: symptoms, diagnosis and solutions. It is not the shortest way, but it is the most reliable. Finally, the conclusions will belong to the reader emancipated from . You will decide whether or not to open the constituent process in pursuit of that objective.

Chapter 1. Resolution of social conflicts? The tub of ice cream

I dont think there is violence because there is conflict; there is violence when the conflict disappears.
Daro Sztajnszrajber

Imagine a father doing the shopping. With three creatures in charge of him, his budget can easily become excessive, so he chooses the dessert using the commercial offer of the day: a large jar of ice cream in a flavor of free choice. He asks his daughters out of courtesy, though he knows well their sweet tastes. These are the preferences that :

As in the rock-paper-scissors game, a technical draw arises that leads to an infinite regression. The father is not willing to privilege lenfant terrible, so he takes a Solomonic decision: he buys two dozen of apples, which, after all, are healthier! And, as our mothers used to say, The most conscientious brothers, please be quiet and reconsider!.

epresentativeness would be defined as the complete, rational, and reflective transfer of each and every one of the electoral preferences. On the contrary, political representation only reaches a specific sector (majorities or associated minorities). Consequently, despotic legislation becomes explicit when the particular criterion replaces the rest of social preferences.

Descriptive statements in Arrows paradox do not judge (Chapter 4). On the contrary, they merely describe that if voters have more than two nominations or preferences to choose from ice cream jars it is not possible to design an electoral scrutiny that reflects the preferences of individuals in a global count and at the same time meets the following rational requirements:

Pareto efficiency: when an initial allocation of goods and resources among a set of individuals is given, Pareto s optimal is an improvement in a new allocation, so that, a balance is achieved where none of the affected parts could obtain further improvement without going at the expense of others.

Independence of irrelevant alternatives.

Unrestricted domain: achieve a maximum common divisor.

Absence of a dictator who can manipulate group preferences.

o date no government has applied these requirements Consequently the alleged - photo 5

o date, no government has applied these requirements. Consequently, the alleged representative democracies sold to us by realpolitik and partycracy, which Rawls supported, are farce that make up the despotism and heteronomy imposed by the establishment. It is not a troll opinion; it is a corroborated analytical (logical-mathematical) judgment (details in Chapter 6) .

Let us get back to the classic question: What does a person like me (identity) do (rules) in a situation like this (recognition and sustainability) given a certain culture (group)?

Identity.

Group.

Sustainability.

Recognition.

Legitimate rules of the game.

It is urgent to analyze the tension among these requirements because, if they are not resolved, fellow citizens will not be able to achieve any alternative model that is systematically cooperative as a substitute of individual corruption and even the stale disbelief and apathy of postmodernism. Reconciling these five components is key to achieving the strong criterion that will allow us to conquer formal representative democracy.
