SPECIALTY STITCHES & TECHNIQUES

Adjustable loop = Form a loop from your yarn with the tail end of the yarn behind the yarn coming from your skein. Hold this loop, pinching where the yarn crosses, and insert your hook from the front to catch the working yarn and pull it through. Chain the number of stitches you need to start your pattern, and then work the rest of the stitches of the round through the loop and over both the working yarn and the tail yarn. Pull the tail yarn to close the circle at the end of the round.
