down to a massive area called Kings Canyon to battle
each other. Many other competitive online games
offer players a number of small levels to enjoy. But in
Apex Legends , there is only one playable map. This
isnt a problem, though. The games fans are happy to
drop down into Kings Canyon over and over again.
No matter how many times they play, the map never
gets boring.

One reason this situation works so well is that
Kings Canyon is very large. An incredible variety
of landscapes lie within its boundaries. There are
rocky caves and green forests. Players can sprint
across wide-open desert plains or head indoors to
search for loot in futuristic military bases. They can
take shelter in tiny shacks and climb to the tops of

Battle royale games like Apex Legends have become extremely popular in
recent years. Titles such as Fortnite and PlayerUnknowns Battlegrounds
have audiences just as big or even bigger than Apex . Millions upon millions
of people go online every day to play these games and watch their favorite
streamers in action.

All of these games share the same basic set of rules. Players compete to be the
last one standing in a huge online battle. Over the course of a match, the playable
area shrinks smaller and smaller. This forces players to stay fairly close to each
other even as their numbers dwindle.

you cant simply take your time to explore in Apex Legends . Instead, you will
have to go where the game wants you to go. This means you might have to
play quite a few matches before you get the chance to visit a specific area you
