Dedicated to the Economy, and the last 10 years of surviving. Without having lost a job, and being desperate to make a living, I wouldnt have found a job that I was both good at, and that I liked. Ridesharing had allowed me to see more of my city than I had ever before and gave me a new perspective on the gig economy. Not only that, but it also taught me a lot of lessons on how to think outside of the box to try and improve what Ive got.

H ONESTLY, THERE ARE a lot of people here that I can acknowledge who helped me get this far with writing this book, and, I feel very bad that I'll end up missing a few people as I go along.

For starters, I want to thank my family for putting up with me. Working Ridesharing and the Gig Economy, in general, is pretty rough at times even though it's been a lot of fun to do it, and often times I get so busy chasing a few extra dollars that I try my best to make up for it. Especially now that I've moved onto writing full time and trying to expand my skill set to the point that it makes me stay up late at night working and sometimes showing up to family functions tired and lethargic.

Mom, I especially have to acknowledge you since you've been a wonderful woman through all this and very understanding. With all of that art and creativity and drive thats in you to be your own person, it's that part of you I've taken with me to do all of this as well and I'm glad that you've been supportive.

Dad, I miss you a lot and I now appreciate a lot of the late nights and extra shifts you pulled growing up just to have some extra money for food and fun on quiet summer evenings grilling in the back yard. I wish you could see me now doing the same, but differently because I think youd be happy.

All my Brothers - all three of you - I swear I'll pay for the pizza's next time on our next pizza and movie night.

The second group of people I want to acknowledge is my online community. Without people to talk to late at night when I'm procrastinating, I think I'd go a little bit crazy. This is a shout out to all of you both for my hobby circles and my other Freelancers (Both Writing and Ridesharing!) circles who helped me proofread, write, given me advice and feedback and generally supported me while I try to succeed.

The third I want to thank is God - just all of them. I'm agnostic so really these thanks are up for grabs for whoever wants to take credit on giving me this small spark of creativity. If you're divine and want to step up to the plate we can talk about that... after I die of course.

The fourth group that I want to thank really isn't much of a group but rather Coffee. Without you as my addiction, I might be better rested, have better health, be able to actually sleep on a regular schedule - but damn if you're not delicious and you help me focus when I really need to meet a deadline. Thank you coffee for always being there for me when I needed you, and for being the solution to a lot of my problems as well as the start of a lot of others.

To the rest of you that Ive forgotten, I am completely sorry about that rest assured youre still on my mind and I do intend to get to you. Dont worry; I got a lot of projects lined up to write so youll definitely get in there. I promise.

Hello there.

I F YOURE PICKING UP this guide book then there are a few fair assumptions that we can make about why you would want to do that. Either youre looking to get started as a Rideshare Driver and want to learn all that you can about the business before diving into it so you can be fully prepared on what you should, and should not do.

Or youre looking to learn about the Gig Economy and how you can make money working it, and Ridesharing seemed like a pretty good Gig to get started on.

Or youre looking for a side hustle on top of your main job (or going to school) and want to do it on the weekends but still maximize your profit margin to make it all worth it.

OR youre already a Rideshare Driver and you want to learn a few new tricks to increase your overall profit margin.

No matter what youre here for, the entire goal of this EBook is to make sure that you have the best information on hand, and the latest information as of the current year (2020) to help hedge your bets and improve your take away.

Theres a lot of information thats already out there all over the internet especially from the perspective of other Rideshare employees who are working the business right now and being successful at it. In fact, thats extremely useful as the more people there are to lend their skills and expertise to the field the more we all benefit from the information thats given because it shows that we, as Rideshare Drivers, can improve upon and add our own collective skills and experience to the profession.

The aim of this Guidebook though is to condense down all of the information that's out there right now so you have a handy guide to help get you started - preferably with the most direct information and advice available to get you started as quickly as possible. The secondary aim of this Guidebook is to provide you with resources on where to go, and from where you can visit to improve your knowledge of Ridesharing and the profession itself.

Essentially this is the breakdown of the chapters that will be in this EBook:

- Lesson 1 : You're already here.

- Lesson 2 : Writing a checklist, and making sure you understand what you need first when you start out.

- Lesson 3 : Preparing yourself for the Freelancer life and Gig Economy if you hadn't of done that already.

- Lesson 4 : Choosing what vehicle you're going to drive. Not all vehicles are made the same, and some do better in certain areas than others.

- Lesson 5 : Making sure you understand why you need both proper Insurance, and a proper Extended Warranty / Vehicle Service Contract, and to make sure you get the right option.

- Lesson 6 : The meat of the EBook. The different Rideshare Apps aside from Uber and Lyft you can work for.

- Lesson 7 : What you can expect to earn while Driving, and how to properly calculate your general worth at any given time according to what your Rideshare Apps algorithm is.
