About the Author

Michael Httermann is a freelance developer and delivery engineer. He offers project support (hands-on as well as conceptual) and gives seminars in the areas of Agile, continuous delivery, and DevOps. An Oracle Java Champion, he has a strong background in software development and considers it essential to experience software in production, not just when its finished and running on a desktop.

Michael presents at conferences, was the stage producer of the tooling track of Agile 2009, is a driver of the Java user group in Cologne, java.net JUGs community leader, member of Agile Alliance, and member of the JetBrains Academy.

Michael has written three books: Agile Java Entwicklung in der Praxis (German, OReilly), Fragile Agile (German, Hanser, co-author), and Agile ALM (Manning).
