Nevertheless, none of it would stop me from traveling and I felt like Bangkok was the right place to prove something to myself.

Earlier this year, I had set some pretty strong goals for myself all of which I wanted to accomplish in BKK.

• I will easily sleep with 10 girls in 10 days.
• I will easily sleep with 3 girls from going out solo at night.
• I will easily sleep with 3 girls from daytime or Internet.

Ended up crossing off 1 goal, but came close to the accomplishing the rest as well. Bad luck.

Lets start at the beginning.

ARRIVAL

Boarding Qatar Airways great on-board entertainment, the food is okay. Fast forward 11 hours Ive enjoyed a transit at Doha airport and finally made it through Bangkoks immigration checkpoints. Luckily, no line to wait.

Alright, what now? How do I actually get to the city center? , while realizing that preparation might have been handy.

First things first, and I gulp down 1 liter of cold 7-Eleven water. These damn tiny cups on-board, I wonder if I am the only one super thirsty after a long flight.

Signage at Bangkok airport is pretty good, I just had to take a couple of stairways downstairs and minutes later, sat my ass down in a skytrain heading to the heart of Bangkok. Well, I didnt sit at all, but when its super crowded, thats what I like to tell myself.

Switching from Airport Link to MRT finally destination: Huai Khwang.

Its a bit confusing when everything sounds like the name of a Chinese restaurant or person. Luckily, I made it without bruises.

Right besides the metro station, I had booked a room at the 21st floor of an apartment building. I didnt like the hello kitty decoration inside my apartment, but at least the building had a swimming pool and fitness room on top.

20 minutes and a soaking wet shirt later, I had equipped myself with much needed socket adapted, had unpack my luggage and started texting the first couple of girls from online dating.

Making plans with the first 2 girls, I manage to piss off both. I blame it on the dating culture back home. So used to girls canceling last minute that didnt take it seriously when the first Thai girls I talked to instantly agreed to meet the same day.

No real conversation beforehand, but as it turned out, they were for real. Surprise.

THE FIRST DAY

Rather a coincidence that I arrived in the midst of Thai New Year festivities Song Kran which lasted for another 2 days. Practically-speaking, there were benefits and downsides to this. First, super awesome to be able to make such an experience. If youre unaware, for basically 3 days, Thailand turns into a giant water playground.

Either you see people walking around with water pistols, or theyre standing next to water barrels, waiting for you to pass by. One thing is sure though, if you ever leave the house during that time, its gonna be wet times. Dont fret, the girls in wet t shirts are well worth the trade off. Youll never see that many in one place. Ever.

Entire Bangkok shut down. Everyone partying on the streets.

Getting laid? Sub-optimal, if youre doing online dating. Most girls either went back to their parents place during holidays, or had plans already. So, ironically, while theres parties everywhere, theres less action happening in otherwise vibrating areas of the city.

A rather unusual experience, walking down Sukhumvit Road with barely any bars open, whereas usually, youd experience party non-stop, street vendors and, well, tons of massage girls.

Things turned out well, I didnt stay alone long on my first day.

We had agreed to meet at a certain place. I didnt show up. Thought she wouldnt come either.

Note to self, What the hell was I thinking? .

Thats where I learnt my First Lesson : Dont talk on the phone with Thai girls ever. Even if the girl speaks somewhat fluent English, weird-sounding street names and your inability to pronounce them correctly will make things more complicated. What is usually fine in person, often leads to a hell of a lot confusion when talking on the phone. Instead, its better to use text, Line or texting app that works for both of you.

Anyway

This girl was somewhat super pissed, but after talking on the phone, showed up anyway. Armed with a water pistol, she arrived minutes later, we hopped into a cab and headed to central joining the crowds. Loud music, big stage with performers.

No, I didnt get to lay this girl and frankly, there was no romance involved. When youre soaking wet, feeling cold and tired from walking around, its really the warm shower that youre yearning for. Pussy doesnt have a top priority then.

Bro Tip : Get yourself a good cell phone plan with enough free minutes and data. Big mistakes I wanted to save money and just bought a prepaid card, which had to be renewed constantly. This causes a lot of issues especially when I was about to meet with a girl and couldnt call or text her. Sprinting to the closet 7-Eleven and breaking a sweat is not what you should be doing right before a date. Its probably best to get yourself a good prepaid phone plan right at the airport. Theres many carriers to choose from.
