Listful Living: A List-Making Journey to a Less Stressed You Library of Congress Cataloging-in-Publication number: 2019944134 ISBN: (print) 978-1-64250-047-9, (ebook) 978-1-64250-048-6 BISAC category code: SELF-HELP / Self-Management / Time Management Printed in the United States of America For Jay Berman. Youre my favorite. Table of Contents My intention with this book is to guide you to become a calmer, more balanced, and less stressed version of yourself through list making. This isnt journaling for journalings sake. The journalist in me wouldnt have it.
Were going to walk through what needs to happen to make sure you have systems in place to be less stressed for good. This book is designed to give you space and time to explore where you are, where youd like to be, and how to get there in terms of your productivity and stress levels. First, well evaluate where you are and what systems youre using while tapping into your personal productivity style. Then well dive into where youre going and how you want your life to truly look and feel. And because Im a practical lady, I need to make sure that, by the time you finish this book, youll have a roadmap to implement all of this. There are three parts, and Id love it if you trust the way Ive organized it.
Its meant to be filled out in order. Ive been very intentional about structuring it so each part builds on the next. That said, if sometimes you want to jump around and fill out a different page in the section youre working on, I wont tell anyone. Sometimes that can keep the momentum going. But for the most partuse this book in order. Part One is your Personal GPS.
I want you to lay out exactly where you are right now. This is the self-discovery phase. Put on your journalist hat, be as objective as possible, and note what is true right now. There are no judgments or ideas of what you think you should be doing. Just record what youre doing now. Part Two is all about your Blue-Sky Intentions.
If I were to take a peek into the future with you, what would I see? How would you feel? What would you be doing? I want you to imagine big in this phase. Dont worry about how youll get there yet. Part Three is your Passport to Stress-Free Living. This is the road-mapping stage where youll explore how youll get to the amazing place you envisioned in Part Two. This will have the tools and rules of engagement to ensure that youre living a less stressed and more productive life. Dont get hung up on having the right answers.
