Advance Praise for Dumb and Dumber
The definitive book on the decline of New York and New York City under Andrew Cuomo and Bill de Blasio.
Dan Bongino , Host of The Dan Bongino Show
The best book to ever be written by someone else named Matt Palumbo.
Matt J. Palumbo, Founder of The Aventine Group
Matt Palumbo breaks apart the media narrative on New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasios handling of the coronavirus pandemic. Cuomo and de Blasios actions crippled New York and led to thousands of deaths, while they used the media to craft an image that they were successful in their efforts. Palumbo shows that the only things Cuomo and de Blasio are interested in protecting is their political careers.
Ryan Girdusky, Author of Theyre Not Listening: How The Elites Created The National Populist Revolution
Matt has decided to expose us to the truth, that the stars of the progressive movement have little to offer except empty pockets, unsafe cities, and an erosion of common sense. It will be hard to convince anyone who reads this book to stay and suffer in NYC.
Joe Borelli , New York City Council Member for the 51st District and Minority Whip of the New York City Council
As Palumbo so effectively illustrates, New Yorks greatness cannot be taken for granted. Dumb and Dumber lays out in stunning fashion how our nations largest city, and the state in which it resides, are losing population and wealth on an epic scale thanks to the utter failure of liberal leadership. Palumbos chronicle of New Yorks decline is tragic, but critical reading for anyone hoping to grasp an understanding of how a perfect storm of left-wing policy, bloated bureaucracy, and a pandemic is destroying our nations largest huband how it can be saved before its too late.
K ristin Tate, Author of The Liberal Invasion of Red State America
Matt Palumbo expertly details the sad decline of New York and exposes the hypocrisy and incompetence of two of Americas most overrated politicians. Though the story is a sorry one, the failures detailed in this book may reveal remedies for this once-great state and city.
Jack Buckby , Author of Architects of Betrayal: How Parliament Tried to Thwart Brexit, from Chequers to the Meaningful Vote
Matt Palumbo deftly navigates the political terrain of New York City and State in order to expose the malpractice of two of Americas worst ever politicians. De Blasio and Cuomo cant hide from the facts, and this book is chock-full of them. Palumbos impeccable research and eminently readable style expose de Blasio and Cuomo for the incompetent clowns they truly are.
Barrett Wilson, Senior Editor at The Post Millennial
Its not just the pandemic thats been deadly for New Yorkits the reigns of terror and ineptitude by de Blasio and Cuomo. Palumbo gets to the heart of it in this compelling read about an iconic city in the throes of a steep decline at the behest of these incompetents.

If theres anything nice to be said about Andrew Cuomo and Bill de Blasio, its how easy they made it to write a short volume on their failures.
Theres no shortage of screwups to touch on, but for the sake of this book theyre divided into three main categories: coronavirus, economics, and law and order.
The documentation of Cuomos and de Blasios response to the coronavirus is the most damningand a reminder that the mainstream media truly controls the narrative, as youd have the opposite impression of how New York fared if you only listened to them.
People have been leaving New York for a while now, and just recently NYC began seeing an outflow of population too. A review of the economics of New York, encompassing its high taxation, absurd regulations, inefficient government, and poor social services, leaves no doubt as to why.
And if things couldnt get any worse, the exodus has been catalyzed by the coronavirus and (in NYC in particular) a series of anti-policing policies from de Blasio that are deteriorating law and order and returning his city to what it looked like in its preRudy Giuliani days.
In addition to the sheer incompetence of Cuomo and de Blasio, producing a book on this topic so quickly would not have been possible without the help of a number of others.
Thank you first to Anthony Ziccardi for both presenting me with the opportunity to write such a book and for (accurately) believing that I would be the best person to write it.
Thanks to Katie Sweeney for her phenomenal assistance in helping me research Bill de Blasios tremulous relationship with the police and his various weak-on-crime policies.
Thanks to The National Pulses Natalie Winters for her help in piecing together a timeline on de Blasios and Cuomos often contradictory statements during their response to the coronavirus pandemic.
Thanks to Kristin Tate, whose great book on why people are leaving blue states, titled The Liberal Invasion of Red State America , provided immense guidance in what economic and quality of life indicators to look for when analyzing why people were fleeing New York specifically.
And lastly, thanks to everyone who agreed to read and review this book pre-publication.
Stay tuned for editions two through infinity.
To the wrath of countless liberal pundits, President Donald Trump commonly referred to the coronavirus as the Chinese virus for the obvious reason that the virus originated in China. Unaware of the many other viruses named after places and people, liberals immediately branded the term racist because, lets be honest, its 2020 and what other argument were you expecting?
While the coronavirus may be the China virus on a global level, in the context of America its the New York virus. The Empire State quickly became the epicenter of the coronavirus outbreak in the U.S. thanks to the incompetence of Governor Andrew Cuomo and Mayor Bill de Blasio, and from there the virus was exported to the rest of the country.
If New York were its own country, it would have more coronavirus deaths per capita than any other in the entire world as of this writing. At the state level, only New Jersey has more per capita deaths.
But you wouldnt know it if you were fed a steady diet of mainstream media news.
Even as the virus ravaged the state and New York City in particular, the media praised the leadership of the two stooges while condemning Trump. While this would be paradoxical without our media, Andrew Cuomos approval rating throughout the pandemic surged alongside the viruss death toll in his state.
A review of the media response to the crisis shows Murphys Law in full effect, hence why the mainstream media is so desperate to ignore it.
