REVIEWS, COMMENTARIES, EVALUATIONS
B isexual men, while subject to a good deal of stereotyping and dismissal, have only rarely been an exclusive focus of social scientific scholarship. Beemyn and Steinman's Bisexuality in the Lives of Men, with its terrific crew of contributors, fills in a major gap, raising and answering important questions about identities and practices of bisexual men, and offering challenging insights into their cultural representation. It covers its territory-the images of bisexual men in literature, art, and popular culture; the lived experiences and identity work of bisexual men-with theoretical depth and empirical sophistication.
