Matthew Blake Ms Pariah Carey
Matthew Blake trained at East 15 in Contemporary Theatre Practice under Brian Astbury. He splits his workload equally between performing, directing and writing. He regularly works as an associate director for Punchdrunk, making award-winning, site sympathetic, immersive experiences all over the globe. He devised and performed as Alexander Keith in Seiriol Davies sellout show How To Win Against History at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, UK tour and Londons Young Vic.
Recent work includes: Double Vision with Gagglebabble and Wales Millennium Centre (director); The Third Day Live Event with HBO / Punchdrunk (associate director); The Oracles with Punchdrunk (director, writer, game designer). He is the Matt half of comedy duo Kat & Matt. He is in a girl band called Heart & Soul and regularly hosts a cabaret night called One Legged Dog as the wonderful but not so famous Jan McDonald, sister of the wonderful and very famous Jane McDonald.
Lisa Jn Brown The Mother
Lisa is the lead singer and songwriter with award-winning genredefying band 9Bach signed to Peter Gabriels RealWorld records.
She has collaborated vocally with Gruff Rhys (from the Super Furry Animals ) on solo albums since Candylion in 2007. She also features on Public Service Broadcastings Every Valley and sings live with them.
Lisas theatre credits include Praxis Makes Perfect and Candylion for National Theatre Wales, Sleeping Beauties for Sherman Theatre, Double Vision for Wales Millennium Centre/ Gagglebabble and Chwalfa , Siwan and Cysgod y Cryman for Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru.
Amongst her many screen roles Lisa played regular character Ceri Gravelle in four series of Gwaith/Cartref and Emma in soap Rownd a Rownd for five series. She is one of the best-known voices in Wales, having narrated Welsh-language animations Y Dyfnfor , Lilis Driftwood Bay , Dragons Defenders of Berk , Dennis a Dannedd , Henri Helynt , Pengwiniaid and Spiderman amongst many others.
Seiriol Davies Dewi
Seiriol Davies trained at LISPA. He is the writer, composer and lead of How to Win Against History, which opened at Edinburgh Fringe 2016 then toured England and Wales before a run at Londons Young Vic.
Recent work includes the interactive epic Mission Control with National Theatre Wales and Hijinx (associate artist, script, performer); Corn Gwlad , a Welsh-language queer musical with Cwmni Pluen, Stonewall Cymru and the National Eisteddfod of Wales (co-writer, lyricist, composer, performer); Effigies of Wickedness: Songs Banned by the Nazis with Gate Theatre and English National Opera (lyricist). Seiriol wrote the musical finale to The Greatest Wealth , The Old Vics celebration of the NHS.
He created Mess with Caroline Horton & Co, which has toured extensively nationally and internationally since it premiered in 2012. He has made work with Punchdrunk, Verity Standen, Kristin Fredricksson, Rififi, Giant Bird, Beatabet, Underbling & Vow, Christopher Green, Gideon Reeling and others.
He is currently co-writing a musical with Maxine Peake, to be directed by Sarah Frankcom.
Awards include The Stage Award for Acting Excellence, a Wales Theatre Award, a Broadway Baby Bobby Award and the Oxford Samuel Beckett Theatre Trust Award. He was nominated for a 2018 UK Theatre Award for Best Performance in a Musical.
Kate Galston Rhombus
Kate Galston was born and raised in Llandudno, North Wales. She now resides in North London where she has many residencies across the London Jazz scene.
Recent work includes: Chicago (Roxie Hart, International tour), Thats Amore (UK tour & Sunday nights at the London Palladium), Cinderella (Sir Peter Maxwell Davis Welsh National Opera), Mamma Mia (UK tour), The Genius of Ray Charles (Haymarket London), Heartbeat: a musical celebration (UK tour) Mutton (Edinburgh fringe festival), Sinderella (Jim Davidson production).
Kate also had the pleasure of travelling the world, with Cruising Musicals Consortium in a range of shows aboard the Aurora & Oriana P&O cruise fleet.
Dylan Townley Barman / Wall
Dylan Townleys previous theatre credits include How to Win Against History (Young Vic, UK Tour, Dublin Theatre Festival), Austentatious (Piccadilly Theatre, Savoy Theatre, UK Tour), The Greatest Wealth (Old Vic), Aaaand Now For Something Completely Improvised (Perth & Adelaide Fringe Festivals, BBC6 Music), Wacky Racists (Soho Theatre, 2Northdown), Jason and the Argonauts (Unicorn Theatre), Hyprov (Assembly George Square Theatre). Composer credits include Midsummer Nights Dream (Robinson Theatre) and The Monstrum (Royal & Derngate); musical collaborations include Henry Webster, and London Swing Orchestra & Graham Dalby. He is co-creator of Peablossom Cabaret (UK Tour) and Fanny and Stella (Hackney Showroom, Camden Peoples Theatre), and head writer for the BAFTA-winning History Bombs .
