About the Author
Joseph Mancuso is recognized as America's bestselling small business book author and leading entrepreneurial expert. As founder and President of the Center for Entrepreneurial Management and the Chief Executive Officers Club, he has his finger on the pulse of the American small business.
With over 3,000 members, the Center for Entrepreneurial Management is the world's largest nonprofit association of entrepreneurs. The Chief Executive Officers Club, with membership consisting of CEOs of companies above $2,000,000 in annual sales, has chapters in 12 major cities. Mancuso founded these organizations to act as a forum to grow the ideas and overcome the obstacles of small businesses. The wealth of information and experience Mancuso has developed and imparted through these organizations is unsurpassed.
Mancuso has founded seven businesses and is a member of the board of directors for forty diverse U.S. companies. In addition, he is an investor and director of several successful private and public companies. He is, however, probably best known as an author. He has written 22 management and small business books, many of which are also available on audio or video cassettes. He is the author of Mancuso's Small Business Basics, also published by Sourcebooks.
Mancuso holds an Electrical Engineering degree from W.P.I., an MBA from the Harvard Business School, and a Doctorate in Educational Administration from Boston University. He lives in Manhattan with his wife and business partner Karla, and their two children Max and May.
